Channels are getting stuck frequently

I have subscribed Yupptv on january 18 with the package rate of 179$/year+2 months. The same package got reduced to 119$/year+2 months in a week as part of republic day offer. I was shocked after seeing this drastic price reduce.

From day 1, All channels are not proper. Always get loading issue and unable to play error which is really frustrating.
From yesterday onwards, frequent loading issue and news channels stopped coming..

If you chat with customer care then you need to sit with them for an hour or more than that.

Very disappointing with yupptv. Atleast i would have saved 60$ if i would have subscribed

Set of Box not delivered for a month

I placed an order for the YUPP TV box package on 12th Jan 2016 . The irritating thing is that the box has not been delivered till date (21st Feb 2016). The full amount has been paid (annual).
The support email just keeps apologizing without still not suggesting how long it will take.
Is there a way I can get my refund. There are a couple of competitors who are offering discounted packages also.

Greedy comapny

I had non-recurring subscription which expired on 25th March2016. They renewed it for monthly subscription without my knowledge or permission. When I requested to cancel it, they cancelled it but deducted money for 2 days, just 2 dollars even though the fault was on their side. Such a pathetic and greedy company. I wish it collapses soon as it is ripping people out of money. Subscription prices goes up every year and service goes down every year. In this age of Internet prices should come down not go up.

Non-recurring subscription renewed and getting charged

This complaint seems to be going on and on for years. I empathize with folks who got charged in the name of renewal, double charges in case of you go for a yearly package without realizing that YuppTV is already charging your card without your authorization. They have the shady practice of ripping-off unaware customers.

I had a terrible experience with Yupp TV annual subscription, which as per my Account page, is 'non-recurring', getting automatically converted into monthly subscription and my card getting charged without my authorization.
You will get an email after they charge your card. When you try to contact them, you will face the endless queuing music. And if you try to chat with their customer support, their amateur customer service personnel will just say that, the conversion and charging is as per their 'terms and conditions'.
In my case, I contacted them at the last day of annual subscription expiry. By that time they charged me for the remaining month. When I had a annoying time chatting with amateur guy, he said, 'Fine, as a valuable customer, we will refund' as if they were doing some favour. He told me that he cannot cancel my account immediately and said, I will be charged till then. Yes, I am told, I cannot cancel on my last day of my yearly package.

The story did not end there. There was not communication from them after that. But, I was promptly charged on the first of next month. When I went through the same agony of calling them. That guy simply says that, 'the earlier guy, did a small mistake, he did not allocate my earlier complaint to anyone and hence I am being charged'. I could not believe the level of irresponsible answer I was getting. Now, after few days, when they did the refund, they did only part of the amount they charged me. Now, it's again my turn to follow it up. Be aware of these shady YuppTV guys, who are ripping off their customers without customer's knowledge.

YuppTV alternative

In Canada, VMedia is a very good option if you are looking for an IPTV service. They have TV packages for indian channels starting at just 19.99 CAD. I used Yupp TV before and I had similar issues, had quit and joined Vmedia, service is great.

sunday26th june 2016 marathi movie

zee marathi in India announced that marathi movie Katyar Kaljyat Ghusali will be telecast on sunday 26th june 2016 from 7 pm to 11 pm . I am given to understand that the same was telecast in India at the said time and date. I am a subscriber to Yupp tv marathi hindi package and I regret to inform that the above movie has not come on catchup-tv till now i.e. 28th june 2016 3:40 pm central time USA. Please let me know when it will be shown here , if at all?

Poor Support, Issue in viewing subscribbed package

We subscribed Yupp TV - Tamil Platinum package 9 months ago
It was working fine until three weeks back.
One fine sunday, we were not able to watch any live or VOD channels.
Every time we log into our subscribed package, it either gives an error message stating no channels, or it asks for the activation code to be entered,
Even after several attempts of entering the code, it will not work
We made several calls to helpdesk, but they are not able to help
Day 1 - we call, rep asks to enter the code and restart the TV, after trying 15 times, they say they will escalate this ticket to another technical team and respond within 24 hrs

Day 2- (after 48 hours of no response) - we call the rep, the rep asks the enter code and try restarting another 5 times. Then the rep bluffs that this problem is amongst most of the samsung tv users. and will be resolved shortly

Day 3 - (after another 48 hrs of no response) - We call and ask for updates, when we get to know that is not a common problem.
Also we try entering the code for 5 times. then the rep again says he doesn't know what the problem is and says will escalate to another techincal team(same as day 1)
Being a frustrated user, they are not ready to refund nor fix the problem.

didn't receive free Roku device even after 2months and changed 10$

I was offered with free Roku device at the time of subscribing for yearly package. They have charged me $10 and said that I will receive Roku device in 10 business days. Its been 2 months, I have enquired couple of time with customer service. Till today I didn't receive Roku device and have no status update!!!!

If I call to enquire, customer service ppl are disconnecting my call in middle with out providing ticket number. Not a promising service at all.

Wonderful(awkward?) service

When you pay for the a subscription package, the service is activated immediately. This is good for new customer. But consider my case where my existing service is ending in 10 days. I want to renew my service now so that I have uninterrupted service after my current subscription package expires. The catch is, as soon as you subscribe the new service is also activated on the same day. So, I lost my 10 days of service in previous package.

YUPP TV think, they can make more money by reducing the service period or billing twice for same month. I have raised a complaint and waiting for the things to be cleaned up. Bottom line is "We (Customers) should be careful with YUPP TV".

YUPP TV IS A TRAP..DONT USE!

It is a trap that I have subscribed for yupptv. These guys are just trying to milk you. You need to pay 10$ for every device that you activate it. Seriously!!. First time, that I hear this sh..t from any online streaming company. So, I want to cancel it and I cant cancel as it is bought as package.

yupptv support contacted me and help me in resolving the issue, though it was problem with my internet. contacted my internet provider and issue is fixed now.

YuppTV Service

I took YuppTV service in the month of January 2016. At first, it was all good and smooth. Later I started facing buffering issues. Contacted support regarding this couple of times. At first, they fixed the issue. But it started again. Then when I contacted them again a senior technical guy named Phanindra helped me if fixing the issue permanently. So far I am able to watch the channels without any hassle. Hope this continues.

Yupp Flix Streaming Problem

We subscribed for Yupp TV + Yupp Flix package in December 2016 . We could not watch a single full movie . There are interruptions, buffering for everin YUPP FLIX or gets disconnected from that channel if we are watching a movie or song in Live TV. The Support team told us that with the new Update around 31/12/2016, the Fast Forward problem will get fixed. Certainly it was better with that update, regarding Fast Forward. But however, the frequent buffering / Interruptions are so many, it is impossible to watch a full movie in Yupp Flix. Once it starts buffering, we can not continue to watch that mpvie,. We have to get out and restart agai from beginning. Thr Resume will not work. I have sent couple od e mails to the Support Team , but there is no reply & no solution.I hope we can get a Refund and look for a different Source. It is totally disappointing !!!!!!!! Even the Live TV or Catch up TV are not free from these interruptions. We watch the Yupp TV on Sony Android Smart TV, with Optus Cable Network, Still the problem ???

Ads played while switching channels! STAY AWAY!

Now they are playing annoying ads as you change channels. This is on top of the ads that you already watch in the channel.
Experience is at it's worst. Time to quit if they won't stop this nonsense on as PAID app.

Reference id - 160315 worst service!!

Very worst customer support. I raised ticket on October 14th till now it was not fixed. I tried to catch them on phone and chat but nobody response me.
I need a refund right way I don't want to deal with you guys anymore.. stupid customer service.
If nobody response after this email, I'll make a complaint on consumers..

Stop streaming every 28/30 minutes

Stop streaming of live channels every 28/30 minutes! Complained twice. Ticket # 253798 and # 249002. Previous attempt did not give improvements. Are you really able to fix the issue?

Frustating experience over the last couple of months

In October 2017, we went for an yearly subscription with YuppTV for the Hindi package. After the subscription got activated, we started facing issues.
First - our device started showing wrong emailed and wrong package. When we called the customer care(this is such a big pain to get through), they did some reset and it started working - until we switched off the TV. Next day same issue.

Next, the customer care told, they have some existing problem with SONY Opera TV and it will be resolved in 24-48 hours.
The process of us calling and following up - almost 1 month.

Finally, we told them to please refund our amount so that we can go to another provider. They discussed over the next couple of days and told they will send a device which is compatible.

Since then, we have been calling every alternate day - everytime a new representative picks, assures us it will be with us in 24-48 hours. We haven't seen any result.

Over the last couple of days - we are asking them - please refund - we have waited enough now. They tell - we will send ou tracking id of the device etc.
We don't think any of it is really true. They are just wasting our time on this. We have never heard back from them.

Calling their customer care - their number fails to recognize any number - whatever we dial. We have to make 2-3 attempts for us to luckily get through.

But nothing is really fruitful. They have wasted our money and time and its really very frustating experience.

We never get any senior people contact so that we can really ask them to please address. Everytime the a new person - same assurance - no result.

Neither roku device is activated

I called Yupp support to activate second roku device and deactivate first device as it was not functioning properly- the rep response was there will be recurring monthly $2.99 activation fee. I said I already paid for annual subscription and activation but the rep kept repeating same word $2.99 recurring monthly activation fee - so i hung up and reset primary roku device amd launched yupp app - the rep had already remove the first device from my account-now I cannot access yupp from any of the roku device. I slapped myself for calling YuppTV Suppot. I still have prepaid eight months subscription left - highly unlikely to renew subscriptions with YuppTV

YeppTV freezing

Yepp TV is not working from three days. i have chatted, called several times but no solution.
i have yearly subscription, am not sure if would get any kind of refunds.
would like to remove any auto renewal on my subscription so effective i can stop using non-functional yepptv for good.

Auto renew

Dear All,

My subscription expired by end of AUG 31st 2018 and i didnt renwed for 2019 but the guys in YUPP has automatically converted my package to monthly and without any consent they are monthly charging.

When i contacted the operator i had received the below reply.

I am really sorry, But To provide uninterrupted services to the users, all the non-recurring packages (Half-Yearly,Yearly packages) would be converted into respective monthly packages after package validity expiration.

Due to this kind of practice so far many shifted to other alternatives.

Once subscribed you are in your own

Bad customer service
They were quick to contact and have us subscribed. Later a channel which was the primary reason to subscribe for us was removed from subscription due to differences between the channel and yupptv. Response speed is more than a week now and have been asking to terminate subscription but they won't listen anymore. Beware, once subscribed you are on your own.
Another disrespectful act from them - they contact you as part of response to reviews claiming they will resolve so that it shows up on the review websites that they will address all concerns. In reality I haven't been contacted neither has there been a response for over 2 weeks now. You truly are on your own

YuppTV not working from beginning

I have been in touch with Yupptv for so long on phone and by email. The last time I hear was from Anni who said, after going through various technical set up, someone else will contact me. But, even after my reminder emails, no body contacted me.

I have enough of this drama and I want you to refund my subscription.
