It definitely is a fraud!
Got a letter yesterday stating I owe them $18 for a video game rental. This is false as I checked myself - I had 0 ballance on my account when I closed it with Hollywood Video! It definitely is a fraud!

This company called me and said that I owed them money. I never did it but they want money from me and pushing me to pay and don't give me a time to contact my lawyer. This is not legal, be careful with this company

Claim I owe them money
I received a letter stating that I owe money ($20) for renting a video three years ago! I can only guess that this letter is either form West Bay Acquisition or Hollywood Video. But I do not owe money to neither of them! I will be filing a report about this scam.

This is just a scam
Be aware that if you will receive a message from this company stating that you owe them money for a dvd that you have never returned – that’s a scam. They tel you that they will sue you if you won’t return the money, but those are just lies. They are scarring people in order to rip them off.

beware!
These guys are scammers, they have sent me a few notices stating that I owe around $40 for some videos which I rented in March. This is just ridiculous since I gave those videos back. I checked them up on-line just to discover they're a scam! Don't pay them anything!
