Frustrated by Long Lines at Walmart
it's not the woman's job to ring you in. she works is jewlery, she is not a cashier. she could have been nicer, but you need to realize that lines will be long at walmart this close to christmas.

the problem with walmart as i have experienced it, ( i work for walmart) is they hire friends of a friend and they reward those lazy ass workers for being lazy and not doing the job that this FRIEND who is in management got them hired to do. So that poor unsuspecting soul who gets hired in to do the same job, who is not a friend of any of the managers, or assistant managers there seems to be 6 to 8 assistants needed to run 1 store. God only knows why that is needed hummm... maybe the store manager could answer that only he or she wont speak about that because, well lets face it it makes their job easier and there is more people to blame shit on. Anyway that 1 employee who believes in an honest days work, gets to do all the work in that dept. while the friends of the manager, get to walk around with a shopping cart and will blatently say "I'm not doin that i don't care what our supervisor said."' all day, or send text messages to the boss who happens to be the one who got them hired in the first place. So if there happens to be a complaint from a customer about their service, maybe the employees are trying soooo hard to keep a somewhat level head and not loose control, that it is hard to be happy and smiling all the time. Imagine if every time up walked into work you had to climb a hill, watch your back and carry 3 people just to get your lousey minimum wage paycheck, while you watch the others backstab, text and kiss ass with your boss and get the pat on the back, when you are working for all of them to get the job done and trying to keep the customers happy.

You may have been putting in the correct 3 digit number, but did you verify that you entered the correct credit card number? If you entered the wrong credit card number, it would not matter that the 3 digit pin on the back was being entered correctly as they would not match and chances are that you did typo on the credit card number and simply did not realize it.

I have had cards rejected simply because my cc company thought it was a suspicious transaction, outside of my normal card habits.

Ask your credit card company why the transaction was rejected. They usually send something in the mail about the reason.

The retailer gives them every opportunity to pay for the merchandise, once they pass all points of sale with out paying for the merchandise...It is to late to pay for it. And they should all be held accountable, especially at age 12. Because at age 17, they go to jail. It is your job as a parent to teach your child right from wrong. Stealing is wrong, its against the law. They should be harsh...obviously your child didnt learn that it was wrong from you. Maybe you as the parent should have been held accountable for your childs actions, since you think they were to harsh on your child.
