Hi ya Justice! It has been mighty quiet on here the last few hours. It's actually been enjoyable reading complaints and comments with harassment. Merry Christmas!

Declined check
Telecheck is what a lot of companies use, it wouldn't have just been declined at Walmart. It probably put a hold on your checking account for protection just in case someone got a hold of your checks and were spending all your money.

Declined check
I just love standing in line and seeing the person in front of me pull out their checkbook...
that was sarcasm.
Seriously there is no reason to write checks in stores anymore, and other customers hate it.

security unfairly accused my ten year old son of shoplifting and made him cry.
Bullshit, the security guard would never arrest a child without the parent. Either you are the ten year old boy and are posting this go cause trouble or you were fired. Also they would not have taken him to the police station they would have taken him to the back room. Even if they did they would have let you know first. I know because I was caught once so don't try to lie.

Is it not obvious that that man was not a security guard and he was trying to abduct your son.

If you lived in the U.S. for 15 minutes you should know not to leave your 10 year old son alone.

That about goes for anywhere phillypower, we even have incidents like this in Canada where people pose as police officer, security to abduct children. When they are in their teens they offer these children jobs but turn out to be sexual predators.

Just be glad that your son did not go with that "security" officer and contact the police about this incident.
The other posters are right, either the incident was made up or he was not really a security guard and wanted to kidnap your son.

You should report the incident to the police as it sounds like an attempted child abduction.

If this is true you should call the police and file a report. They will view the store surveillance tapes and use them to try and ID the perp and try to apprehend him before he succeeds in kidnapping a child. Abducted children are usually murdered within the first two hours after abduction and are rarely found alive.

"You should report the incident to the police as it sounds like an attempted child abduction."
I think that is what the manager was implying, but she thinks he was suggesting that her son was stealing.

MAC AND CHEESE COST ME CLOSE TO $300
It wasn't Walmarts' fault!
You would have gotten towed, or received a ticket, for parking in a handicap parking place
no matter where you were illegally parked.
Handicap parking places are for handicap people...

Frustrated by Long Lines at Walmart
Take your business elsewhere then. Every store in the country is busy the months of November and December. It is not the store or the employee's problem that you chose to shop at 5PM with a tired child or that you were in a hurry. Secondly, the self checkout is for you to do it yourself. Meaning, if the customer in front of you has a problem, you should already know by your own common sense, it will take a bit to get it corrected. If you are stupid enough to go to the jewelry counter and complain about it, no wonder they acted like you were crazy. You are. They deal with people like you all day everyday.
I suggest you get yourself a job at Walmart if you think you can do better. I gurandamntee you won't last long.

Walmart Always out of my Pet Food
How is preading out merchandise on the shelves saving labor costs? Someone still has to spread it out. Dis you ask anyone at the store why they don't have the cat food you need? Maybe it is a maufacturer problem, or maybe they are not going to carry it anymore. Try asking and see what they say.

Either your son is lying, or you are not who you claim to be. They would never approach a child and ask him to accompany them to a police station. Secondly, It isn't "shoplifting" unless the customer exits the store. Get a grip.

Timpthypetrov, child abductors pretend to be security officers, police officers or other people of authority. If what this person is saying is the truth it is apparent that the person was not who he claimed to be and was trying to abduct the boy. If this did really happen, and I am not saying it did not, nor am I saying it did. If this is true I urge the OP to contact the police. I a sure that is what the manager would have done if you had allowed your son to be questioned. If he was approached about the shopping, one thing is for certain that person does not work for walmart.
