Vman, what are you, 12? How in the world can you possibly even think of justifying this kind of behavior!?! How can you think it is all right for your daughter to steal!?! How can you be all right with your daughter listening to music that an 18 year old shouldn't be listening to!?! How can you feel that Wal-Mart was harsh because she received a punishment!?! Why are you afraid to parent your child!?! Is the reason that you never wanted to be a parent and you cannot be bothered? You have no desire to raise a child, so you don't care about your own? Another child steals some cheap toys, and that is fine? Do you truly feel he should not be punished for BREAKING THE LAW? Seriously, what is wrong with you?
Kevin, Cathy is a good mother. My own mother was the same way. When I failed to behave in the proper manner, I was punished. I may have been spanked (and for that I do thank her, as it was the right thing to do); I may have had privileges suspended; I may have had to complete extra chores. Quite frankly, I think you need to be taken to court. It seems your own parents cannot be bothered to raise you; perhaps the juvenile justice system can do something to help you. I fear it may already be too late. Disciplining children is not the same as picking on them. You are doing the wrong thing to children who are younger and weaker than you; your parents refuse to discipline you; therefore, Cathy's family is not letting you get away with your outrageously nasty behavior. I say good for her. You need strong, strict discipline. As I have stated before, I have no desire to see my tax dollars support you while you are in prison.
Vman, you desperately need to man up and discipline your daughter with a firm hand. I have no desire for my tax dollars to support her when she winds up in prison, either.

Print out their match policy and bring it in to the store with you. If you qualify and a cashier doesnt help you, ask for a manager.

it could also be that you had a faulty seal on your motor, that would empty your oil quickly if it was bad enough

It could be a lot of things. Have a mechanic check it out. I know from personal experience that whenever I get an oil change I have to check the level frequently as freshh oil burns much faster in my vehicle.

I cannot agree more. I used to ENJOY shopping at Walmart, but they have been going downhill for the last 5 yrs or so. I just got home from shopping at a Walmart in Grand Prairie, TX. The store was very busy, lots of people checking out, but only 4 check out lanes open. I had to wait about 25 minutes to check out. Why does Walmart operate like this? Do they simply not want our business? Is it a hint for Americans to shop elsewhere? If Walmart doesnt get their act together soon, folks are going to get fed up, and Walmart will turn into the next Sears. Also, Walmart used to sell groceries at a much cheaper price than its competitors, but that is no longer the case. I still might end up paying a dollar or two more at a conventional grocery store, but paying a buck for descent customer service and open checkout lines is more than worth it!

V man needs a reality check. This incident gave you a valuable chance to teach you daughter what is right and wrong, but what can I say, you blew it. Victimizing your daughter's actions will only lead to worse incidents in the future. You had the chance to teach your daughter that what she did was terribly wrong. But because you fail to be a good example to your kid, there is no telling what will happen in the years to come. When your daughter is 18, she might justify stealing more valuable merchandise from Nienam Marcus and end up spending time behind bars, footing her legal bills to dear old dad. Eventually, it'll hit you like a 2X4. FYI, you can spend your time criticizing grammar skills on this site, but that doesn't change what a poor parent you are.

I bet though your daughter did something wrong they were harsh on her because she was non white. If she were white she would have been allowed to get away with a warning. Instead they arrested her and embarrassed her. Come on just because our faces can't turn red from embarassment does not mean Indians(as I am) or blacks do not have feelings.

Simple solution: Put in an application and help them out. It's easy to complain, but more rewarding to be a part of the solution. Oh you don't want to work at Walmart? Neither does anyone else and the ones who do work there don't really give a shit about their jobs.
You want super low prices or plenty of competent staff. You can't have both and the majority of people in this country have voted with their wallets that they would rather have low prices.
And asking to talk to a manager who was probably already super busy that day just to complain about the waiting times that I'm sure he was already aware of is just a great idea.

I have a right to post my views and my experiences just like everyone else. If you don't like me based on my religion keep your opinion's to yourselves. I posted a review where I was treated rudely because I was Indian. I was discriminated against when I went shopping at Walmart by other customers, and they did nothing to help me when customers were rude to me including a 12 year old boy. Then I was falsely arrested for theft. Instead of taking my side all you white members harassed me.

They have to protect their customers and I was harassed by three or four different customers. If other customers are harassing me they have to take action. Instead they sided with the white people.
I am sure the child is non white. Big companies usually get away with racism. Also if you think racism is a joke you are sick in the head.
