Scam
I just doing a review of charges on one of my credit card accounts I found a charge of 19.95 as a monthly charge from SPK*SPOKEO SEARCH. When I called them, they cancelled that and are sending me a return credit of $215.00 for apparently the many months that I did not detect that these amounts were being charged. They apparently rely on many accounts never discovering that they are being charged so they can cancel and return whenever they are detected. It is certainly a divisive scam.

Fraud
Two uninitiated charges from SPK*SPOKEO SEARCH ($ .95 and $1.99) appeared on my credit card. I have never initiated any business with this company. In addition, there were two temporary Google app charges I had not made. There was apparently an additional $2000+ charge that had not shown up yet on-line. Fortunately, I discovered this almost immediately and my bank shut the card down and is investigating the charges.
