fake ugg boots
I am from the UK and I bought two pairs of Snug Australia short boots at Xmas (less than 2 months ago) for my daughter and niece and they both complained that the inside back heel area is rubbing and chafing and my niece actually drew blood. These snug Australia boots are just not fit for purpose. I wrote to them and they said: " Since the boots were purchased in December of last year they are no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
However, we can try to forward them to the manufacturer for assessment if the boots are returned. If the manufacturer accepts the boots for assessment and if they are found to be faulty they will be repaired free of charge.
If the manufacturer refuses to accept the boots for assessment we will have to send them
back and additional shipping costs will apply."
...So who in their right mind would pay out more money to ship them back to Australia when they say there is a possibility they will refuse to repair them and then I would have to pay yet more money to ship them back!!! I am pretty sure they have consumer laws in Australia just as much as in the UK so will be doing some investigation in a bid to find some answers to my legal rights.
I didn't like the quality (or lack of it) when the boots first arrived as they were extremely lightweight and looked cheaply made when compared to uGg boots I bought in the UK. I hope people in the UK read this and are not tempted to buy any from this company.
