Bad service
We have a female Irish Setter that we got from Rose. She will be two this February. We got her at eight weeks, and she is absolutely wonderful - healthy, loving, smart, beautiful, and has been so easy to train. She has a great nose, and often puts our Springers to shame. We couldn't be happier with her. Rose was very helpful in helping us pick our puppy. This is our second Irish, and we would have no qualms whatsoever in purchasing another Irish Setter from Smyth Kennels. Don't think much of the Irishdoodle idea, but each to their own.

Crooked
We bought what we were told was a purebred golden retriever which turned out to be an irish setter. The dog is impossible to train, hyper and not what we thought we were buying. Spent $450 on what we feel is a mixed breed. They lied to us stating it was a purebred golden retriever. We had just lost our golden retriever and our granddaughter was heartbroken. We thought it would help to get another golden. She even stated on the receipt that it was a golden. They obviously lie to get a sale and can't be trusted. Said the dog had papers but would not give us them. Don't trust these people.
