THEY SOLD ME A SICK PUPPY WITH A HEALTH GUARANTEE AND REFUSE TO RETURN MY MONEY

I am an active duty Soldier who purchased a puppy from Anne and Abe because of the health guarantee they offered. I paid them $9,500 and they sold me a sick puppy who was diagnosed with mega esophagus. The puppy is only 23 months old and has already been hospitalized twice. I have spent more than $8,000 on veterinary bills and hospitalizations for my puppy who has been sick since I brought him home and is now vomiting blood. For nearly two years I have been in contact with both Anne and Abe trying to get them to honor their health guarantee. They are nothing but liars. They kept telling me they could not understand what I was telling them because they have never heard of this condition. Then they wanted his veterinary records. After I produced records and the bills totaling more than 8,000, they then started telling me that I needed more medical testing done, in spite of the diagnosis he was already given that he is suffering from mega esophagus. They initially told me that they would help me find a home for him with a family who had unlimited resources who could afford to pay the medical costs associated with his condition. However, after waiting for several months, I began to realize that this was just another one of their stall tactics. They finally agreed to take my puppy to find him a home. They refused to meet me, forcing me to drive nearly 12 hours to get to their home in Albany, OH. I initially left my puppy with them but knew something wasn't right. Thank God I came back the next day to get him. I brought him home, only to discover that the blister pack containing the medicine he MUST take every day, had never even been opened by them. It was all a scam and if I hadn't gone back I think my puppy would have been killed by them. They then promised that they would work to find a home for my puppy, while he remained in my care if I would agree to remove the complaint I filed against them with the BBB. As soon as I removed the complaint, they refused to return my calls. They are terrible people and don't care about anything but stealing your money. 3 days ago, I had to take him to the hospital again after he started vomiting blood. They refused to pay for his emergency room visit and refused to give me a refund. PLEASE DON'T PATRONIZE these criminals. Their house is nothing but a staging area where they house dozens of poor animals who are simply neglected and untrained while they are waiting to be sold to the highest bidder. They are simply a disgrace. Go to your local shelter and by a healthy pet. Don't patronize these greedy breeders who are only in this for the money. I hope someone will report this to the ASPCA to execute a search warrant to see exactly what is going on in their house of horror. Shame on you Anne and Abe Gandy!
