complaint about appauling customer service
To whom it may concern,
I think i should bring to your attention the appalling behaviour of a member of staff and shockingly the manager of shoe zone in staines branch.
I took my daughter to buy some new pair of shoes in your staines branch.As you know we have to try few pair of shoes before buying the one.Thats exactly what i did for my daughter and not like any other customer i did put them back nicely as i also work in retail shop.But there were few other customers who tried shoes on but did not do what i did.After choosing the shoes my daughter and i went to pay for it.Normally customers will be welcomed by greeting but the lady who was at the cash desk told me "can u go and tidy up the mess you did".I was shocked as i could not believe what i heard.I asked to show me where is the mess i made and she replied by saying "maybe my manager just tied up your mess".I did not say anything as i was in shock and i asked if i could speak to the manager.But unfortunately things got worse as the manager said there is nothing wrong with how the staff behaved with me.I asked him to give me his name and the lady name but he refused.Fortunately i manage to get the lady name from the receipt, her name is ria.This happened in staines branch at 4.14pm on 4/08/12(Saturday).
iI felt very humiliated by the staff and the manager in front of so many other customers who were there at that time.I felt as this was an attack on me personally as the manager and staff did not say anything to the other customers who actually made the mess and i felt picked on as the manager and staff may have thought i was an easy target for them to do so.It ruined my day and also given me mental stress as i felt very insulted by the staff and manager of staines.
I would appreciate if this matter is taken seriously. I hope that i would be informed of the actions thats taken against the manager and the the staff called Ria so that this does not happen to me or anyone else ever in future.
