PS. You can make complaints to hellopeter, and to remax head office, as well as the rental tribunal and the TPN forum, and the EAAB as well as start a group on Facebook. Its unbelievable how this man keeps getting away with it.

I somehow knew this was not his first time, it was all to smooth and slick what he promised thanks for that I will be contacting the rental board and Cape Town tourist board. I have already posted on hellopeter. The Swiss press will be getting this soon to protect unsuspecting tourists renting holiday homes or buying property from Rainer Kloos or Remax Southern Africa. Thank you

You may want to look up Wesley Carlson who he used to work with - he stole clients Trust Money and absconded to Mauritius last year while Rainer was working for them, And then another branch of Remax still employ Rainer. Its crazy. The Rental Tribunal and the EAAB are your best bet for the formal route. There are some great agents out there - but this guy takes the cake.

Thanks for this info I will be looking him up to get a clearer view of his environment and I will be submitting my issues to the EAAB and the rental Tribunal. I received a comment from him finally and he said that I rented the apartment UNFURNISHED. I was shocked, can you imagine my wife and I on a sabbatical from Switzerland would take a unfurnished apartment for 6 months??? He guaranteed me it was furnished in his slimy sales pitch.
