incompetent and a nuisance

Applied for service and was approved in November of last year, several weeks before a scheduled move. The phone never showed up, despite my having a forwarding order in with USPS. I have tried to contact the company numerous times via email after being unsuccessful at getting to speak to anyone by phone. This company purposely makes it difficult to reach them with any issues.

They have been robocalling a contact number I gave them—a Google Voice number—several times a week for over six months! The message is an automated call saying they need to speak with me about my "account," when I never even took delivery of the phone. (The phone never has shown up anywhere.)

I want to block the robocalls. Problem is, every single call is from a different phone number in a different state! It is unbelievable that QLink is still trying to maintain contact with me. It is not my problem that they make it impossible to easily contact them to discuss what happened.

Unprofessional at best; unethical and possibly illegal at worst. It is very hard to take them seriously. It's simply not my fault that the phone wasn't delivered and my attempts to discuss the situation with them have gone nowhere.

Avoid this company at all cost!

CRAP

Terrible, don't even bother. They tell you no details whatsoever about the information you must provide, or how long it will take (weeks) in order for them to confirm it. I could have gone straight to many other providers in person and received a phone on the spot. Instead I have spent weeks playing E-mail tag with these incompetents and have no idea when or if I will actually receive a phone. In the mean time I cannot apply for service with a far more capable provider because my application is stuck limbo with qlink. Go with providers like Assurance and Budget Mobile, they seem to understand how important these Lifeline services are to people who need them.

DO NOT ever get a qlink phone. They sound great but phones are junk. I have had to purchase a phone every mth. and I have had enough. if you have the phone 31 days and it quits working you have to replace it even if you just paid for one last mth.! Or they will tell you to take to a reorganization at your expense as well!

Total scam

Q Link Wireless is a total scam!!! I inquired about a phone upgrade and I was assured a much better phone than the make and model I had. They wanted $25. for the upgrade which I paid for only to get a cheap "no name" phone with a small screen. I tried e mailing them and calling them and I got no response. When I finally did reach someone other than the automated system, I was told that they will not refund me my $25. The woman was rude and spoke over me not allowing me to state my case. I have written a formal complaint about the company to the BBB and hope that eventually, with enough complaints, they will shut this scam of a phone company down.

Never recieved phone, Qlink wanted me to pay for a replacement!

I'm pregnant and qualified for a free phone, so I figured why not. Took a couple of days to process my application but I was approved and confirmed via email a phone was shipped with tracking. A week went by and I noticed I recieved an email saying my phone was deliverd, but I knew it was an error because I had not recieved my phone. So after filing a claim with ups, I called qlink and after 15 minutes got a customer service agent on the phone, that told me I had to pay for a replacement phone. I told her that since I never recieved a phone in the first place the very least they could do was wave the replacement fee. She said she could not, because the phone shows shipped. I asked her if I could get usps to prove there was an error in the delivery of my phone if they could waive the fee, and she said no. I told her to cancel my account, and she said the only way to do that was from the phone I never recieved. I even asked them to investigate why I didn't recieve my phone and she said she couldn't. Don't waste your time with them. Horrible customer service.

Bad service

I had no problem receiving my ZTE phone. The phone is a piece of crap, drops calls, at loudest setting can't hear ring or feel vibrate. I tried calling customer service and its all automated service, can't speak to a real person. I did have Safelink and regret everyday changing to Qlink. I'm going back to Safelink. Qlinks phone are worthless. Their service all the way around sucks.

Junk

The phone they sent freezes up and get hot to touch. I called for replacement and they said its out of warranty. Their warranty starts from when you order it and it takes 2 weeks to get so by the time you know something is wrong you can't get a free replacement. It's a lifeline phone and I qualify because I'm an elderly disabled person on SS which means I'm poor. They will charge me $25 to replace the phone but will turn off my current phone for several weeks until I get the new one. They give you the line that they have to turn the current phone off so they can make sure the new one works. That's BS!! So in order for me to get another phone I have to be without the safety of having a phone for emergencies for several weeks. WHAT A RACKET!! Take advantage of seniors, send them crappy phones then put them in harms way to get $25 out of them.

Scam

After being told not to process any payments that I didn't want the phone they went ahead and did. Then told me they would have to refund the payment which would take 2 weeks. No exceptions. So they take your money without authorization and then keep it for 2 weeks collecting interest on it and then refund it to you. SCAM SCAM. SCAM. SCAM

Phone not working

Phone won't ring when someone calls & I'm unable to open the screen to even make a call.

Garbage phones!

I was grateful to get the free lifeline service from the government because I'm disabled and can't afford to pay for phone service. But, oh lord, do I wish I never signed up for it with Q Link! 😩 The phone they gave me is absolute garbage. It drops calls right in the middle of a conversation, loses volume, doesn't take messages and to top all that off---I can't hang the thing up! The 'end call' button doesn't work. I stopped using the phone so they would cancel my service. Instead they're continuing to just add minutes every month anyway. Now we're all supposed to be thrilled because they've upped our free minutes to 1,000 a month. That's only because they know their phones are garbage and people want to leave them and sign up for lifeline service with a different provider. Meanwhile, they want to continue to get reimbursed by the government for phone service that some of us can't even use. Q Link Wireless is run by scam artists.
