charged for their 'free trial'
Beware of this company they will take you money for nothing!
They provide to sign uop for a 7 day free trial to try their servicies and of course you need to give you credint card number. Before my trial was over I cancelled my sign up and later I noticed that I was charged for a 'background check which I never ordered. Now I;m trying to get a refund and I want everyone to beware of this company!

so far for the free trial..
They claim their service is free for 7 days but when I used a few times to find out some information. I unsubscribed as soon as the 7 day period ended but they still charged my card with $200. That's a lot of money for me, what a bunch of thieves!!

free trial which is not free
This company offers to their customers free trial which actually is not free! As soon as you purchase this trial, they charge your card without any notice! No chance to get a refund

Ripped me off
After signing up I was promised that I would have to pay only a minimal fee. But when I received the check I saw that they signed me up as a member, and I had to pay the full price!
Total fraud! Very disappointed!!!

100% scam
Consumer, beware! This company is a total scam! When I found their services they offered me 7 days free trial but after it was finished I found that they charged my card for $20!! Moreover, they refused me to refund money after my claim saying that it is not according to their policy!!!

Spam
I signed up for their "free trial". They charged me 19.95. I had to contact them to get a refund, which they promptly provided.
But now I am receiving a lot of spam from background check and other companies. It's obvious that it came from Peoplesmart.
They sell your information to all kinds of spammers. Don't give they your email address!!!

I wanted contact information for one person...paid the 1.95 they asked...I just wanted a phone number or address.. They charged me 29.00-31.00 monthly for 6 months before I figured out what was going on....refused to refund 156.oo whichhey owed me. This company is s am..I have all emails form hem...talks about the free trial period...no where does it tell you what their monthly charge will be..
