Took money and never applied to prepaid debit card
All I know is that if this HOLD means all my bill money i put on this card is GONE... we are going to court! I recently loaded bill money on to account a week ago and none of my payments went through but my balanced stayed the same... called card company and the told me it was on hold... WTF idk how when ive always had at least 15$ on there...
CALL ME A PISSED OF CHICK FROM MARYLAND>>> looks like the wont be getting anymore business of mine
after reading these statments and witnessing this my self and Ive been using them since MAY 2011

I am so pissed... everything that everyone said is true... im very dissapointed! and wont use them after everything MONEY wise is depleted on this account i am DONE! and your right all the people on there dont speak english!

WOW...this is a completely fraudulent company. Absolutely never do business with them. Received my card as a gift...I think my gift giver would be pretty upset to learn that the $50 they gifted turned into $26 instantly because there was no way to activate the card. When you call the phone number it "activates" the card although you can't actually get a balance. So I called to get a balance 3 days ago, couldn't get their phone number to work, tried again tonight and hit 0 a bunch of times to finally get someone in a foreign country who didn't speak English, to find out that they wouldn't refund their "service charges." SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! I recently bought a Pay Power Card and they stole my money of the card and had the nerve to say I owed them $120.00 in overdraft fees! My jaw dropped, I couldn't even think straight for a minute. Huumm Lets see I put my hard earned $$$$ on this totally fraudulent Credit Card if you can call it that, and got scammed, and on top of that they wanted to take more $$ that I didn't even have on the card yet. What we need to do is file a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT for the people that have been scammed by this horrible company. I have spoken to an attorney and he said the owners and some of the employees of this company are looking at serious prison time! "20 years +"

PAY POWER HELD MY MONEY FOR DAYS!!
I WENT TO GO TO THE GAS STATION AS USUAL AND WHEN I WAS DONE NOTICED THAT ALL THE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT WAS GONE!! I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD TO HOLD ALL MY MONEY FOR THREE DAYS! I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD OTHER PEOPLE TO FEED BESIDES MYSELF AND I COULDN'T WAIT THAT LONG. THEY JUST KEPT REPEATING THE POLICY THE POLICY I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND I SPOKE WITH ALEX EMPLOYEE NUMBER 13565 AND HE WAS NO HELP! I ASKED HIM WHO HIS BOSS WAS AND HIS SAID NO ONE! I ASKED HIM WELL WHO RUNS THIS COMPANY AND HE SAID HE COULD NOT TELL ME THAT INFORMATION. WHAT??? SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I'M GOING TO START A SCAM SITE AND THIS COMPANY WITH BE ON THE HEADLINES! WHO DOES THIS TO PEOPLE!!

Will not release funds on card after a week of waiting
Had irs direct deposit waited a week now they still will not release funds they want me to send all kinds of things over the Internet I don't think this is right for them to ask . If the IRS excepts the information why do you have to send it to the card company? I want my refund now and do not want to send sensitive information to them!

Big Ass Rip Off
On 2/27/13, my direct deposit from my employer was credited to my debit card. I made a phone transaction with my credit card, I tried to make a withdraw at a local store to find out that it declined several (3) times. I never received any money from my transaction. Also I informed the store manager who verified that transaction was declined and that i needed to call the credit card services.
I called the credit card services (Pay power) while I was in the store and spoke to a representative who stated that they were experiencing problems with there system and to call back in one or two hours. I call back at that time and a different representative stated that my money would be credited to the account the next day. My money was not credited to my account the next day. I suggest that no one should used there services.

We is my Tax Refund
I called to get my balance because the irs had released my fund and i was told that there was a block on my card. When i asked what was the block for they claimed it was for my protection. I was then told to fax a copy of me ss card and a copy of my ID bill and i fell that is asking for to much. I will never use this service again and would ADVISE no one else to use it either. And now I am waiting 3-5 more days.

Omg I believe being scammed. I have been trying to contact company in regards to my mony. No one is answering pgone. Phone continues to hang up. Im on day 4 waiting on a lock or block to come off for 5 000 what can I do . I have kids and bills and this is driving me crazy. I'm in need of my funds asap who fo I call

PAYPOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok my husband and I had our tax refund money direct deposited to the paypower card. I think I made a big mistake, all I can say is we better get our money! Or someone will have a law suit against them!
So here's what happened we just got our card. I tried to call the number on the front of the card to activate it. And the representative says congratulations you've been chosen to receive a $100, WALMART gift card. Of course you have to pay the handling and shipping fees. I got pissed so I try to get online and try to activate it. We had literally just got the card from the mailbox and when we get online to activate it. It said were sorry but your account is locked. We called the number that they give us and they said they cant tell us why the card has a lock on it because it doesn't show on their computer screens. The rep said for my husband to fax in a copy of his Social Security Card, License and a bill. They said we should receive a call within 2-3 business day, still NO CALL!
WHY THE HELL DID I DO THIS WITHOUT READING REVIEWS?!?!?!?!?!?!
Now its too late to change how we receive our refund and tomorrow our money is supposed to be on there.
Can anyone else help me and my husband figure this BS out, please?

They stole my money again!!!
My card was stolen ,I reported immediatly was told they would send dispute forms,on day 7 i received the forms and a letter stating that there was a provisional credit issued, on day 8 received a letter saying tht the credit was being reversed because i did not respond within 10 days. Still have 3 days left before 10 days is up.faxed papers and still lost my money twice.When callled there is no one to speak with . Sup told me it was a hit or miss .Tax Act should be held resp. somehow for having our monies direct deposit to such a F'd up company.

YOU ADVERTISED FASLEY TO GET CUSTOMERS WITH NO INTENTION TO RELEASE FUNDS ANY FATSER. AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU HAVE HELD IT LONGER THAN I HAVE EVER HAD TO WAIT FOR "MY MONEY". I HAVE ALSO BEEN LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND TEMPORARILY BLOCKED WHICH IS NOW RELEASED. I WILL BE INITIATING A LAWSUIT AGAINST YOUR COMPANY AS OF MONDAY, MARCH 17TH, 2015. can someone tell me if they got their money back?
ok so i have been reading so many stories about people that are having bad experiences with paypower, holding money and stuff...
can anyone tell me if they got it back yet or they never got it back?
i am having a bad experience with them now too, after 1 month of using their card.
i have reloaded this 1 card about 5 or 6 times in 1 month and today i went to buy another reload pack and reload it again but i kept getting an error msg!
so i tried to pay for something and the card was declined! but there is still money on it!
it is 3am and i have been dealing with this stress since 12am, son only 3 hours.
i wish they had a 24 hour customer service, but i am calling them right when they open to see what is going on???
i just want to know if anyone out there has had the same problem? or to all of you who have had problems with paypower holding your money, i want to know if you got it back yet or not?

Yet another foolish consumer
Federal refund deposited January 30, 2015 in the amount of $7050. Today's date February 3, 2015 HARD BLOCK on card due to risk department block (second level block), 3 phone call, 2 e-mails money still not released and no one is returning my phone call. Calling an attorney. Get ready assholes.

I sent an item back to Amazon which was originally paid for with funds from my PayPower card. I sent the item back and Amazon sent my funds minus shipping to my Paypower account. That showed up as a deposit, but then Paypower immediately put a hold on the refund. When I called Paypower and spoke with Alex who seems to be the only one answering the phone, he stated it would take 3-7 days before the funds would be released because there was a difference between the original funds deducted for the item and the amount that Amazon refunded me. I explained the difference was the shipping charges. Alex said their computers didn't understand that so I would have to wait. I explained that my bank doesn't have that problem when I use my bank debit card and that their IT department should stay out of the coffee room and work on getting their computers to understand how to keep customers happy. Alex told me after I wanted to ralk to his supervisor that my money would be released in twenty five minutes. So far that hasn't happened, Alex is a LIAR!!!!!

pay power stole part of my tax refund
My entire tax refund was deposited on a pay power card. After withdrawing money off of the card over the course of a few weeks, a stop was put on my card. I was told by their customer service dept. that I needed to verify my identity by sending in a picture of my identification, a picture of me holding my ID, a copy of my SS card, and a copy of a piece of mail on an official letter head with my address and name on it. When I asked them why this was necessary I was told that a dept that they could not connect me to was requesting this. I emailed all of this. I was eventually transferred to the agent who was handling my account. She told me the remainder of my refund had been sent back to the IRS after she told me previously that money could not be sent back to the IRS once a portion of the money had been used and that she would just reactivate my card. The IRS has received nothing. I have been robbed of over $1000. dollars, the remainder of my refund that was still on the card. I have no clue as to how to retrieve this money.

I got a pay power card to get my refund back faster never used one before neverused and never will they froze my card will not return my calls said they sent it back to IRS and just want to cry it was a lot of money told my Grand baby's that lam razing. We could go on a Trip when I got them they keep asking when are we going nana and I don't know how to tell them that pay power stole my hared ernd money and we are not going don't know what to do!
