i work in morrisons under paid over worked expected to run in at drop of a hat when they decide to change a rota..today i forgot to add something on my waste sheet as was rushed to clock out on time as i couldnt go over my time, manager stopped me in warehouse in front of many members of staff and asked me wot happens when u dont do this i said i dont know.he then asked other warehouse workers the comsequences of my actions would be .he continued to embaress me till i left in tears.only this week my rota has been changed 3 times already i cant sort out nothing for the lack of knowing when i will work i got lung disiese and back problems and i have no support from morrosons

We have just gained a new area manager in the Bristol and surrounding areas. For the past six months the company has been attempting to change the climate of the company - no mean feat. Sadly this new area manager has visited for the first time and walked the deputy manager around the store telling him to 'sort it out or find a new job'. During further talks with the deputy we discovered more lurid truths. The deputy was told to make life as uncomfortable for people as possible as Morrisons' are trying to save money and want staff to leave. He claimed the are manager doesn't care about how people are treated. This is crazy. I can honestly say that everybody in that store works damn hard. If Morrison's are cutting back on staff hours then perhaps all deptartment managers should start cutting back on the amount of overtime they do. If this company ever makes the daily mail top 100 employers it will just go to proove how bent the British tabloids actually are.

im a checkout supervisor at morrisons and i generally care for both customers and staff unlike my cow of a dept manageress shes got a nasty mouth and talks about all the staff like they are nothing, always going on at me to be harder on them and basically be a cow, its not in my nature to treat people like dirt and ive tryed to step down to be told by the GM and HR that they wont accept it just yet and have put it on hold, all they could offer me was evening checkout assisant which is how i started 9 years ago!!!
we are constantly under pressure with hardly any staff always calling reliefs plus the times i never have a teabreak is unreal i start at 7am finish at 1.30 and most of my shift im alone so running 22 tills, 4 selfscan, and tobacco kiosk and customer services at most times about 7 staff all together with tons of empty tills customers giving me filthy looks cause they have to wait!!! what a horrible job i have im constantly looking for another im 48 and feel battered when i get home!!!

I am pregnant 24 weeks at the moment, really stressed and frustrated . I have never worked in my entire life for such a bad company. I wasn't allowed to use my toilet break some days ago by the checkout manager and I have a feeling that whatever I do she will be backed up by the Management all levels. I always had hard time working for Morrisons, but I live in a remote and small place and you know you have to pay your bills. I have a Master degree and I feel that I will never get any progress, it is such a waste of time. I have 3 months to go to leave the company, my maternity leave is not yet sorted and I thing that I will go into a very solid argument in that matter.Sorry to say but f...k

Quality of vegetables
For some months the so-called fresh veg in this store (especially the "bunched" herbs) have been disgusting, often obviously well past any sell-by, or even use-by, date, or in such large bunches that even a restaurant would have difficulty using them up.
I have complained on their official form but apart from "It will be looked at, probably by the store manager", I feel that my concern just fell on deaf ears, in fact the look that the Service Desk lady gave when she read it, more or less confirmed it.
We normally enjoy shopping at Morrisons but unless they change, we and I suspect many others will go to either Tescos or the new supermarket due to open soon on the other side of the river

Manager with bad attitude, as customer asking simple question over payday bonus saver of 10 pound. out of date not in question but the suggestion we sould read the offer more cafefully got up me hooter. i may have lost 10 pound, they have lost my custom. sunday the 10th of March.

Loyal good workers
I was one of morrisons many contractors I worked all over the country.
I am skilled and experienced and in my long working life I have been in demand even with waiting lists of customers because of the quality of my workman ship.( I accept I am blowing my own trumpet)
Up till a few years ago I did my best for morrisons as they where a GOOD CUSTOMER,most morrisons contractors now don't care they treat there contractors like crap.Just recently they got rid of a 1st class security company who I know did excellent work .( I did not work for this company)
This company is going the same way as the banks building up the business to a high level and I'm sure the management team will jump ship just before it all comes crashing down.
I remember the disgusting state of the old Safeway stores when morrisons took them over they where a money pit and it was amazing that no one was hurt by the appalling standards inside the stores.
Lucky for me I now don't do any work for Morrisons but I know most if not All of there contractors past and present don't have a good word to say about this company. I also recently have spoken to one of morrisons new contractors and there opinion is even worse.
When I left I spent more time prating about with a crap shark management company pointless phone calls ,paper work ,and totally rediculous health and safety than I did working.
How can a large company go from top of its game to a 3rd rate bunch of w****** in under 3 years.I am also aware that morrisons warns its staff about slagging off the company in my opinion a good company doesn't need to threaten its own staff.
GOOD WILL is given willingly and NOT FORCED
I also no longer shop at morrisons. Price isn't everything.

staff discount what a joke
I bought some alcohol yesterday for a family get together and once the cashier rang it up was told that we no longer get discount on alcohol.What a joke.We work for less money than tesco and asda and now they are not giving us discount on alcohol.i will be shopping elsewhere in future.

Bullied by a Racist Greedy Fat African Manager
Message: I work in Morrisons Supermarket High Wycombe Temple End Road. My Cafe Manager Ashley John is being racist to me. He is black african. He is not giving me any overtime at my workplace at all. My contract hours is only 22 hours per week. Ashley John is working more than 45 hours per week he also works 7am to 8pm he gives himself to much overtime and is enjoying his holidays these days . He is being too greedy and racist to me. He is not moving to other departments if he wasn't the cafe manager i would have gotten overtime. I need overtime because i have too much direct debts. Ashley John has completely stopped my overtime hours and the upper managers are listening to him. If Ashey John ever sees me working overtime he keeps fighting with me saying you can't clean the juice machine although my arms are too short. He bullies me too much and gives me bad looks as well whenever I work overtime. He is black and he always does what he wants he never lets me ask overtime he is too bad. How can I get rid of him so that i can workovertime? Eversince this black man Ashley has been my cafe manager he has made my life hell. He is too racist and no manager is supporting me or listening to me. They have given all the management authority to Ashley John. They shouldn't make him happy.He has stopped my overtime completely and is enjoying his holidays he is not letting me earn money to pay off my bills he is a bad tempered and miserable man. He is very ignorant he doesn't care about anything he only loves himself he only cares about himself he only wants his favourite people working with him he doesn't want me or anybody working in the cafe except himself and his own favorite people i am depressed i am unfairly treated by Ashley John. He is selfish and taking control of the whole cafe. He has reduced my hours by telling lies to the Store Management team saying that i am not fast enough cleaning the juice and coffee machines . I am very depressed about this manager he is being too rude to me and he is not letting me do any overtime he is a big bully he is not allowing me to ask overtime to other managers he is giving bad looks all the time and jealous looks. I am on depression tablets and he is depressing me more. My sister is worried about me and she is saying to me that this matter must be solved quickly. Just to tell you when Lee was store manager he reduced my contract hours from 26 to 22 against my wishes. Ashley John is being too greedy to me and is enjoying his holidays these days he is a big burden to us. Please help me I am upset. Before Ashley I was happy.I will have to find another job if these big issue won't be solved after a few months time Recently he asked my colleague Saima Malik to come to work overtime this monday on sunday he insulted me in front of my friend Saima Malik. She did not want any overtime on Monday it is her day off. He always ask Saima overtime and not me. These days i had a severe asthma attack and chest pain because of Ashley's racist attitude. Recently my other cafe manager Shamni Daniels moved to customer services she was not racist to me she was giving me a little bit of overtime. My store manager Phil and my other deputy store managers Jacquie,Vikki and Zafar are listening to Ashley John and they have made him incharge of the whole Morrisons High Wycombe Cafe. Ashley is not going from my department because he wants to make sure my overtime is completely stopped. This is the main reason for him not leaving the cafe job. If he ever leaves the manager cafe job other managers are very good to me and they will give me overtime. I am very upset I can't ask overtime until Ashley John leaves the cafe manager job.
I raised this matter informally, but haven't been satisfied with the outcome. I couldn't do anything because the managers have given the authority to a Black African name Ashley John who is my Department Cafe Manager and he has completely stopped my overtime because he is too racist to me because I am a Pakistani Girl. Whenever my Store Manager Phil and other good white managers giave me overtime he was fighting with me everyday bullying me too much and telling me off without no reason. He lied he said to me that it took 45 minutes for me to clean the juice machine although it wasn't part of my job. My arms are too short. I have a small height he racially fights with me saying clean the cutlery properly. He is a very greedy fat and hungry Black African England is not his country why does he gets what he wants? Shamni Daniels my Indian Manager recently left her Cafe Manager job to the customer services department. She was never racist to me and she did give me a little bit of overtime. This Sunday 9/10/2016 Ashley John asked my co-worker Saima Malik for overtime in front of me to come and work this Monday on 10/10/2016 although Saima Malik didn't want to work on Monday overtime. Ashley John always gives Saima overtime and not me. I had a servere Asthma attack and severe chest pain because of Ashley John's racist behaviour. I went today again to see my GP Dr. Lana Jamil Priory Road Surgery High Wycombe. I didn't tell her about my work related issues. Eversince Ashley John has become Cafe Manager he has turned my life into a big hell.
Caused me alot of sadness and cries leading to increased depression although I am already taking Sertraline 50mg depression tablets. I have had severe chest pain and asthma attack because of my racist black african cafe manager Ashley John.
I understand that you might have other ideas about this but I have thought about the following possible solutions to the problem: Please try and persuade Morrisons not to keep Ashley John as the High Wycombe Cafe Manager. He should be moved somewhere else.
