Leaky Wet Boots
We purchased a pair of boots for a four year old and he wore them for about 2 weeks and they began to leak. The sole was completely worn out on the heel letting in snow and water. Then we noticed that under the thin removable liner was only a waffled rubber, no insole, and our son was walking on a waffle like rubber heel with only a soft liner between his foot and the boot. The Brand Names Shoe Outlet in Niagara Falls Ontario refused to exchange or even discount anything on these shoes as it was over 30 days since the purchase. We bought a dfferent make of boot on the same day for our 6 year old . They both travel the same distances (by bus to the same school ) and his did not wear out like this. The quality of these boots was definitely inferior and I will NEVER go back to that store again.

Boots don't hold up
I understand how you feel about the racism card, because frankly hunting is a "white mans" sport so there are primarly white customers, so when a black customer does come in it does raise an eyebrow or two. The straw purchase is a big deal though, it happens all the time someone who can't legally purchase a gun (because they're a criminal, illegal alien or just can't pass a background check) and someone goes and buys the gun for them instead. But then you can go and buy a gun for someone as a gift, so I do understand your frustration. A lot of people look at the same guns, all the time so how can they just say oh you must be doing this illegally. I totally understand your frustration, but if you go and pass the background check, then that's fine. But they are looking out for themselves so I understand both sides.

Boots don't hold up
I got a pair of itasca camo boots in october 2011 and they are ripping at the seam and also cracking, leaking. So my opinion of those boots they are JUNK. I do alot of walking during hunting season, the amount of abuse these boots should take while walking or doing whatever they should last alot longer than 3 months. Tomcat
