Took fees but not explaining refund status
agreed..my 2010 year's refund is still pending with IBSN, because of which i am not being able to e-file my current tax return..as soon as I paid them, they stopped responding to my calls and emails..have been trying to contact them since last 1 year..recently, they have started operations again..guess, they'll again take money from new taxfilers and shut down their operations for a year...
new taxfilers ***BEWARE****..IBSN is a fraud. It needs to be shut down. DO NOT file with them. e-filing is very safe and easy..one can do it on their own!!

I 100% agree...is there way to file complaint against these guys..? so even they are held equally responsible by IRS..

There is an option in the IRS site for the same.

Yes, I'm sufferiing now. IRS selected my last years return for audit. Despite multiple phone calls and emails, IBSN never responds properly. I got few responses saying the TRU team is working on this case. IBSN is really unprofessional and they don't do anything but play games and increase your frustration when you got delected for Audit...Now I think I should deal with IRS myself

After sending several email to ([email protected]) and not received any response from them i have copied one of the email to Mr LAXMI PALAYPU ([email protected]) and he responded to my email that he need the letter sent by IRS for claims as i have taken their tax representation.
Almost one month back i have sent the docs which LAXMI requested and have not received any response from him after sending him several emails. It looks like he is ignoring the emails as they suppose to pay me the amount.
Will update the thread the with the mail communication between me and Laxmi
NEVER FILE YOUR RETURNS THROUGH IBSN.

Made me overpay the tax fee and then did not refund
I am also having the same problem with IBSN and they have made no attempt to contact me or uphold the tax representation I paid for in the event of an IRS examination which is currently the issue. I am also planning to take legal action, so if you are interested in being involved in a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against IBSN you can email me at [email protected]. I am starting a petition for anyone who has been wronged by this company and is having to pay thousands because of their errors. If this sounds like what is happening to you then sign the petition and lets start the legal action. My name is Terri Kothandaraman and I am looking forward to a response from you. If you contact me I can give you the info to file formal complaints like many other people I have already spoke with who have been cheated by this company.
