Scam

Who can I contact to get my point back for a stay i cancelled. I booked a stay at the blowing rock, nc holida inn express. I was stayng three nights, one was pre-paid on non refundable and the second and third nights were reward stays. I understood that the pre-paid was non refundable. I was not able to stay so I called and called, I unfortuantely did not wirte down whom I spoke with. I was advised that the one night was non refundable, that was fine. In checking my priority club reward points I noticed I did not recieve credit back. I inquired online(what a joke)two times, and no repsonse. When I had the time to call I spoek with one of theri customer service reps. As usual heavy accent, hard to understand which has become the norm for customer service. She was very polite though. she checked and advised me that the hotel said I stayed and was not due the points back. I was told I had to call the hotel. So I did, spoke with the general manager and was told that since I did not cancel though priority club, I will not get them that I was lsited as a no show. WHAT! They advised me that I would lose hte pre-paid night, I was ok with that. I was never told that I had to further cancel through priortiy club to get my points back. I don't think I am being unreasonable, all I want are my points back to be able to use them. Is there another number or address I can write to?

Scam

**SCAM** Beware of the Holiday Inn Club Vacation in Las Vegas. I made a reservation with the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in Hollywood and I was asked if I wanted to find out about a special offer being made by Holiday Inn for priority club members. I listened to the sales person and I agreed to going on a trip to Las Vegas to listen to their 2 hour presentation of buying a timeshare. I was charged 199.00 on my credit card and was told I would get 200.00 cash when I checked in and listened to the sales program. Unfortunately, my husband lost his job about a week and 1/2 after that call so after the news settled in about the loss of the job I called the Holiday Inn Club Vacation and told them about the loss of my husbands job. They could have cared less even though the card I received with the information on it didn't start until April 1, 2012 and I called on March 9, 2012 to let them know I had to cancel all they were concerned about was giving me an extension of 6 months so my husband could get a job and we could still come and listen to the sales pitch. Just like the rest of the country California is in hard times and Holiday Inn did nothing but steal my money because they did nothing for it. I received a card in the mail, no reservation was made, no room reserved, all I did was pay 199.00 to listen to salesman. What a scam. I have always stayed with Holiday Inn's but no longer they weren't willing to help me out and when I am on my feet again I won't spend my money on them. Holiday Inn Priority club card destroyed.

Reservation

I reserved 2 rooms at Holiday Inn through its Holiday Inn Web-page online reservation on July 15 . My reservation was for September 21. I checked my credit card statement online on July 16 and noticed that I was charged for the full amount. Since my plan for travel was cancelled, I called Holiday Inn and asked for cancellation or date change she said ( very rude person with a Filipino accent) you have chosen an advanced room rate reservation and you will not be refunded nor can you change it. I asked if I could cancel my reservation and she said of course you can but you will not receive a single penny. What a scam! I did not cancel my reservation and asked my credit card not to pay. The credit card company is in the process of talking to Holiday Inn and will try not to pay.
.
This is not an acceptable policy and Holiday Inn should change this to save itself from going bankrupt.

HOLIDAY INN CLUB VACATIONS

WHEN YOU AGREE TO BECOME A TIMESHARE OWNER WITH HOLIDAY INN CLUB VACATIONS, YOU ARE GIVING MONEY AWAY TO LIMIT YOUR OPTIONS! DO NOT DO IT. WE AS TIMESHARE OWNERS ARE BEING TOLD THERE ARE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE , BUT IF YOU ARE NOT A TIMESHARE OWNER, THERE ARE ROOMS AVAILABLE! FOR THE AMOUNT THAT YOU PAY FOR THE TIMESHARE WITH TAXES AND FEES, YOU END UP PAYING MORE THAN SOMEONE WHO WILL BE PAYING CASH FOR THEIR WEEKS STAY. ANYONE WANT TO BUY MY TIMESHARE?

Priority Club Customer Service the Worst!

After an enjoyable three day stay at the OKC Airport Holiday Inn, upon returning home I was reviewing my bill and discovered the PC points on the statement were give to someone else's PC awards number. After four phone transfers and two hang ups on me, and finally an operator stating she would call me back on my cell phone. (She did not). I have resigned myself to believe that I just gave $500 dollars worth of points to an error made at the hotel. Shame on me for not looking closer before leaving OKC, but more shame on Priority Club for their total unwillingness to correct a mistake that was obvious to everyone I spoke with. Boo!

Never Stay at Holiday Inn

I was told back in September that as a restitution for poor customer care I had received at one of your hotels in Harrisonburg, VA I was going to be given a 3 night stay at one of your hotels in Myrtle Beach, SC. All I had to do was pay $199.99 to hold a reservation, choose when I would like to go and the money would be refunded back to me when I took the vacation. I was weary to make that commitment due to the fact I was unemployed. The representative again said just so we have the reservation for you all would be fine. I made the $199.99 commitment in hopes I would be employed around the time I was to make the trip so I would have spending money there, She knew I was unemployed and never said this was a "club" She plainly stated this was for restitution. I wasn't going to hear anything about what she was offering and told her so.. she said but ma'am, I want to turn that bad experienced around for you. I want to offer to you this 3 night stay as a way to say I am sorry. she then stated that she thought we had a bad connection and wanted me to call her back...which I did.

I made my reservations online in the last week or so and someone called me to confirm. The first question I was asked was did I have a yearly income of $50,000.00 I said no, as I stated in the conversation I had back in Sept. I was unemployed, and what difference did that make with the vacation since it was restitution for an unpleasant experience. She placed me on hold for over 10 minutes and said no ma'am his has nothing to do with a bad experience and to be a part of this you have to join some club and you have to make a minimum of $50,000.00 a year. I asked to speak to a manager and do NOT put me on hold for another 10 minutes with out checking back on me. The "manager" confirmed what she had said and then said to give me a refund, I would have to write you and email asking for it and to make sure I told you the reason why--because I didn't make the requirement of $50,000 a year.

They gave me an email address to request a refund of the $200. She told me to make sure I put in the email I didn't make $50K a year. I sent the email off--the address was bogus!!
