I have done numerous mystery shops for HHgregg. I don't waste their time. We also use to go in there to purchase items. I will no longer do either, becausenof the bad customer service we had for an item we purchased online. Our card was charged, and after 3 weeks we still don't have the item.

attrocious customer service..apparantly all the way up to management
I had a very bad experience at Brandywine,Wilmington del. Store.I had bought a $1000 fridge and in 2 days everything was warm and defrosted. The first girl I spoke to wanted to send repair people out.I said no, this was not a refurbished open box special. I bought new pd new price I want a new fridge.She then said all managers were getting ready to go into meeting,they'd call me back. At this point all my food was out on the back porch in the snow because it was nice and cold out there.1 1/2 hrs later and no callback. I'm sorry but if you have a customer who just bought a fridge 2 days ago and her food is out on porch in snow you make a manager available in a timely fashion.It was evening now! But not his hhgregg store! I waited 3 times 45 min.each. Finally an obviously irritated manager, John got on the phone and we argued about repair vs replace.I was upset about being on hold for so long and he said that was my choice I didn't want to wait for a callback.I had waited! An hrs and a half. It was evening now. It needed to be resolved! My food is outside! He said this is our policy,if we deem it Can be repaired then they have to repair.I said NO! And he said YES! And bang, transferred me to LG repair! ....in the middle of me talking! I wasn't asking for food replacement. A fAulty fridge is no one's fault. I was just asking for the fair and right thing. A new fridge I pd for not a repaired one. I emailed hhgregg and they got back to me saying my letter had been forwarded to management and I would be hearing back from them. Well nothing...it's been 3 wks. I can only assume this is acceptable behavior for managers at hhgregg . Especially if it gets the customer to repair rather than replace. And I'm guessing many do because they don't have the 3 1/2 hrs to stay on phone being switched around or on hold. I'm betting that's what hhgregg managers and management count on. I did end up getting my new fridge because I do have the time to be a pain in their side! I need a new stove and will not at any costs buy it at hhgregg ,even with a $50 off coupon. I do not support this kind of company,one that does not appreciate their customers.
