Total scam and rip-off!
I agree they are a rip off. They advertise 3 weeks free but they don't say u have to be on their plan for 3 months before u even get a week free. That is false advertising!!! DONT SIGN UP!!!

I'm having the same experience. It's been terrible! I think my next step may have to be to stop the charge from coming through which will cost me as well.

I am angry here too. Got hit with an UNAPPROVED "auto renew" charge. Unfortunately this charge to my rarely used account resulted in an overdraft. No email from eDiets to give me a heads up of their plan NO APPROVAL from in the first place, no chance to change the account or cancel..just a ridiculous $35 bank fee for the privilege of borrowing $17 bucks. IDIOTS! eDiets you too good a company to employ this type of underhanded business practice.

While I am really pissed about eDiets UNAUTHORIZED charge to my account (an "autorenew") I actually WAS able to get someone on the phone to reverse the charge immediately. The cust service agent told me that I agreed to the "auto renew" when I signed up online, that it was in the fine print. After I hung up I remembered that I joined using their 800 number and spoke to a person, NOT A CHANCE IN I WOULD EVER AGREE TO AUTO PAY. eDiets, that is a shylock SNEAKY business practice. The very least you could do if you insist on keeping the practice IS GIVE NOTICE. Ridiculous for such a good company. Insult to injury, I am going to get spanked with a $35 overdraft fee because this was not my primary account.

eDiets is not a reputable site, it is a scam!
i used this program in the past and stopped it because i had to cut back on expenses.i want to get back on it to lose some weight and my friend said to read this website before re-joining.i honestly am shocked at these complaints.i had no such problems when i signed up.they were pretty clrear about how much they were going to charge me and how there was a cut off date if i wanted to cancel so they wouldn't send me the food for the next week.Matter of fact the girl i spoke with didn't let me get off the phone until she read all the disclaimers to me. I cancelled after a month and a half and it was pretty easy also.I called, said i wanted to cancel and they tried to ask why and offered me a lower price but i said no and they cancelled it.so again i don't understand all these complaints.

I have found eDiets.com to be an unethical company. First of all, for over a month of ordering, 75% of my orders were incorrect. In addition, when I had death in my family and could not take the time to order by their deadline, they refused to work with me. They processed my order anyway and sent me food I can not and do not eat. I will never order from eDiet again. Their system is not customer friendly. Please be aware.
