Not keeping their word

I do homecare work for a male that suffers from Epilepsy and he has been in the hospital for awhile. He himself has fallen abit behind on his bill but it was because it took Eastlink 3 months to straighten out a credit on their end. Not sure what the other people are talking about, Eastlink does tell you that they are going to bill you one month in advance. When he first wanted to get the phone and internet hooked up the guy said he couldn't do the internet because it was raining outside. Was a credit or anything given because of this, NO. For the month of December he made payments of over $300 and then another $150 payment in January so he is trying to get caught up. I do housework in his home and let his family members know how he is doing, sometimes they call me through his skype but that all changed Friday the 3rd of February, 2012 because they disconnected his internet. I think they did this because he made payment arrangements with them but only expected to be in the hospital for a week, instead he is in there longer. Do they make a phone call to the house, NO, do they send a email, NO. Now his family members who are on his skype are wondering what is going on because I can't contact them. I sent them a email on friday expressing my concerns for when he gets out of the hospital and yet no reply. It will be nice when it gets to the media that Eastlink allows necessary services to be disconnected for disabled people. Plus don't get me wrong, he works from his home to make extra money too and without internet or phone he can't do that. This means he can't pay his bill like he wants so good luck at collections Eastlink. By the way he lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
