Datebook Up sucks!! I was almost taken in by Nigerian scammer from this site. He admitted to me what he was and he wanted to get back on this site after being kicked off. AND HE DID!! They also will not take down your profile when you delete your account. Then you can't get back on because your password is wrong. They should change the name of the site to Scamhookup!

I just found dh and made a membership a week ago. I was starting to talk to some interesting people. I went to log in tonight and it said that it could not find me. I thought maybe I had been hacked somehow so I clicked forgot password. I was told that my email wasn't found. Obviously I have been deleted but the question is why? I never violated terms of service. They didn't even have the decency to send me an email letting me know that I had been deleted or why. Apparently the site would rather have fake profiles rather than people actually looking for someone on that site. I liked some of the mechanics as well so I hope to fine a REAL dating site that incorporates them soon. I warn all those out there that are real to avoid DH

Scammer Paradise
Since I moved to the US to be near Kids I decided to join the DHU site to make some new friends and perhaps find things to do with people of my generation. Since my profile name had "country...*" in it seems to attract ONLY scammers. Often I got the exact same text from to nice seeming guys 1000 Miles apart and different photos. I asked them what they are after, why bother. I cant believe that women are so dumb to mail or send money to somebody they meet here. the moment I voiced exactly that they disappeared from my message list. Today it did it: A guy wrote me commenting on stuff on my photos which is not even there, writing he is a single father and in the profile TEXT he states "no kid". At least they should try harder make the lies not so obvious.
Dot bother with this site. Only Red Necks, dumb and ugly guys are real. the rest is FAKE.

Racist and Homophobic people on this site.
I've been on this Date Hookup.com website since January 2012.I stated in my profile that I'm a gay black man looking for a serious long term relationship with another gay man.I have been harassed by people on this site and the forums making homophobic and racist comments about black and gay people.Most of the people who make homophobic and racist comments are from invisible and other profiles with or without pictures on them and is using fake user names.One of them was a Christian black man who was so homophobic that I had to block him.He kept harassing and insulting me because he said he was a Christian and that he didn't approve my gay lifestyle which ended with him calling me highly offensive derogatory names.Another one was from an invisible profile with a fake user name who made racist comments in the forums calling me the N word.I tried to flag and report these profiles and it won't work.There are NO moderators on this website and these people are downright crude and evil.Don't go on this date hookup.com website.It's a nest for nothing but haters and bigots.

Homophobia in the forums on this site.
I got a message from two different profiles on date hookup.com profile name: dr_i_got_answer,and fun with music who were extremely homophobic and made highly offensive and derogatory name calling towards me because I was gay.I tried to flag and report these profiles but flagging and reporting rude profiles on this date hookup website is useless.Please avoid these offensive profiles and this rogue dating site with caution.

Cyber bullying and inappropriate name calling on this website
I became a victim of online cyber bullying and name calling from invisible profiles on this website called date hookup.com.The bullies were hateful arrogant and homophobic towards me and includes calling me the B word,the F word,the H word and the N word.I was even called a troll and a bitch boy.This website should be reported to the police and FBI it should be illegal in all countries.
