2011 Customer Compensation Lottery Draw
OMG thank god for you guys! I got the SAME thing in the mail today. Its a postal mark from Canada but A check from Southwest independent school district from Texas and Wells Fargo Bank in Texas. I need to contact a Mr. Ray at 1-647-686-6530 but singed by a Brandy Ferguson. I am going to call the sheriff and take in to my local post office tomorrow and turn these guys in!

I just received one this afternoon, from Cananda, GLOBAL, P.O. Box 1150 Toronto, ON M1K 5K5. mail signed by Brandy Furguson, from 50 central avenue, Tappan, NY 10990, with MR. RAY MARTINS TEL: 647-829-7556 TO BE CONTACTED. Check was from Capital One, N.A. Fairfield. NJ. FOR $3, 550.00. Owner of the check was Budd Van Lines, P. O. Box 5960, 24 schoolhouse rd, Somerset, NJ 08875-5960. I new this was a scam, I went online and searched for Customers compensation lottery but could only found scam complains

I received the same letter. It was addresses to my wife. The funny thing is, nothing like this happened to us until we filled out the US Census information. Now my eldest son and wife are getting all kinds of junk mail. I know our crappy economy is in the toilet, but is it really necessary for our own country to sell out information for profit? I have served my country in the US Navy for the last 14 years, endured YEARS away from my family with multiple deployments and THIS is how I'm repaid? I can't wait to retire in 6 more years and move FAR FAR away from this country.

2011 Customer Compensation Lottery Draw
I just received same check and letter yesterday on3/26/2012 in South Carolina, so they are still up to the scam. Personally I think its one of the meanest things you could do people in such s hurting economy. It gets their hopes up but then they slowly come to their senses and realize something is not adding up, But the elderly may not figure it out so fast and I am really worried about them The check looks so real. I took the check to my bank and they told me was a scam and I took it to Kmart store manager. He looked at it and said they were not participating in any kind of lottery put also said that he had never seen one look so real before, Seems likes these America business would have some legal recourse for them using their names or even implying their names in such an unethically scam. Furthermore I agree with the last post "why" and "how" are our American mailing addresses even getting into the hands of these foreign scamming parasites? That is a violation of my privacy. If they are crazy and mean enough to send us this stuff...what's next? I think we need to be very cautions in opening any mail anymore, specifically form people or business we don;t recongize. I am sorry this has happened to all of us and God himself will have justice upon there heads soon enough.

2012 Customer Compensation Lottery Draw
I received a letter in the mail stating that I won a lottery draw from that company that was in company with a list of retail stores. I deposited the check as requested and then found sites on google search about these scams. Yes, I agree I was stupid for believing it and now I have to fix the issue. I did not send them any money but it still made my account in the negative.
There needs to be something done about these scams and if someone needs me to be witness, etc. I will be more than happy to do that. They need to be stopped.
