Stay away
This company screws the customer and the contractor... If the customer actually gets a repair approved.. you can BET on it that the contractor won't get paid for it.. So either way... this scam company has not paid one penny out... They just take your money !!!

Contact the NJ Attorney General's Office and file a complaint. They have a file open and are helping me with my complaint. If we all do this; we can put this company out of business.

My Name is Winsome Sears and my company is Shenandoah Applaince Plumbing & Electric in Virginia ([email protected]). We are owed money from Choice Home Warranty over 2 years now. But I have been in touch with the New Jersey Attorney General's office and they are now DIRECTLY investigating the cases where before they had passed it on the the Federal Trade Commission.
I just spoke with the state attorney handling the matter and they are asking for you to contact them to file a complaint. Without that, it is only heresay. In fact, they have already been in touch with Choice Home Warranty's attorney. So, I have been given this number for you to call and there will be a person to answer the phone: 973-504-6200 . Tell them you want to file a complaint against Choice Home Warranty.

their warranty is worthless
Their warranty is just a scam! Almost everything is excluded there! My airhandler was not working and the problems werethermostat and also unit outside had a leak. They refused to cover those as well. And did I mentioned that thei customer service was extremel rude? Stay away!

This company has so many complaints, just stay away from it. They will do their utmost to deny your claims. They are not even licensed to sell their warranty in Texas. They are a fraud!

Please read their print carefuly. They will not include major consequences repairs and replacement in there! They will not repair something more serious than a stopped up wc. They are a scam, stay away from them!

This company is dishonest to their partners! My company provided services to their customers as insurance coverage but we never got paid! This is really unprofessional and suspicious, it seems like this company doesn't care of their reputation! Beware!

These guys must be avoided. They didn't replace my broken a/c unit. Moreover, when they failed to do the service they made me pay $2175 to replace the unit claiming the failure is not under warranty. This is just ridiculous! Avoid this company at all costs.

I pur my house under their warranty because this company seemed reliable. But it was a mistake... It was the worst experience for me. When my cooling system stopped working I contacted this company for fixing. When they arrived they said that I had to pay, that warranty doesn't cover such damages which was strange. OK I paid but they didn't fix it properly and after one week I had the same problem. I contacted them again and when they came they asked me for money!! They just refused to fix their mistake!! Beware and better avoid this company!
