I paid the $1 got the info in mail and of course no gas card...just called and cancelled with no problem...I'll just make sure they don't charge my account now

They did me too. Not much to add since the same thing is reported by all. I'm new to using the net to order things and this misadventure leaves a bad taste in my mouth !!! A law suit is certainly in order if it could be organized. This scam has apparently been going on for years and should be stopped. I didn't even intend to "join" and spent hours getting out and have yet to receive my credit card statement - that should be interisting. Somehow these people need to be stopped. As all these other people are complaining i might as well throw in my complaint as well, I've been waiting since March, 7th, 2012 for my $100.00 in gas vouchers as well!! It is all just one BIG scam to get you to enroll in Budget Savers, I believe that not only should budget savers be fined for false advertising but shoppers advantage should also be punished as well( BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES SENDING OUT ALL THE INFORMATION AND FORMS) which is there responsibility to go over and verify that all offers are correct and legal in binding.. Someone needs to put a legal STOP to it!!! So I think both companies need woke up with a hell of a lawsuit or fine or both!! Thank you for you're time!Respectfully Submitted, Tammy Langston,

Budget Savers
I accepted their trial offer and was promised a 14 day free trial period from date I received the materials. I recd materials in the mail 9 days after signup and paper work stated that my free trial period began day I purchased the program, which left me with only 5 days to review and decide. I contacted the company and they said that they can't/won't adjust the trial ending date to reflect what the salesperson stated clearly to me. Also, I attempted to access the $100 free gas coupons on line and was unable to do so. Lesson learned...stay away from these scam artists.

Rep Sounded Like Hyped Up Meth Addict
I was called relentlessly and when I finally took the call I had to listen to 30 minutes worth of nonsense. The 1st rep was short and to the point but then he said he had to transfer me for 'quality control' (i.e. a new company to have my cc information) and the true hell began. The rep kept asking for me to verify my cc after every 2 sentences including the exp and security code ~ she did it so much that I started counting how many times she wanted my full information ~ what lack of comprehension skills does it take for me to repeat the same numbers 7 different times or was this so my cc number could be passed around to different companies effectively. I was also advised that this coupon thing would come with my original order along with a $100 Gas Gift Card and another gift card that were mine to keep whether I stay with this program or not ~ I received your letter 10 days AFTER my order arrived and there were no gift cards. The whole ordeal has been beyond frustrating and I've never felt so harassed on a phone call in my life ~ after 20 minutes I had to go pick my child up and advised that I understood what I would be receiving in the mail (because who can't comprehend something repeated 5 times in a row) but I had to go and the rep kept saying just one more thing and kept talking like a hyped up meth addict. This one more thing was an additional 10 minutes and then I was asked for my cc number info AGAIN and then AGAIN and then she started on another promotion and I finally had to hang up on her ~ being late picking up my child because your rep doesn't know when to shut it down is unacceptable and after this 30 minute nightmare I get an envelope with worthless coupons and no gift cards. I can't even order from the Shimmer Site anymore for my daughter because of this program ~ they won't send the product until the run through all this unnecessary 'savers'. I was told I had 5 days after receiving the coupon book to cancel but the company conveniently waited 10 days to send it. I DEMANDED NO CHARGES on my cc. I understood the rep was doing her job but this is the most ridiculous and frustrating conversation I've ever had and the company should be embarrassed thatl this is acceptable behavior.

I was told I had 30 days to look over the information after I received it, I received the information on 4- 23-13 and was billed on 4-13-13. When I called to complain they told me I was billed 22 days after I signed up for this SCAM.This company should be prosecute.d

i tryed budgetsavers it is a scam i did not get the gas card an nothing else and they tryed to charge my card the 29.95 and had to get my bank to cancle the transaction it was nothing they said the just want your bank info to charge you something need to be done.
