Bad service

DO NOT ORDER FROM 1800flowers.ca. You are going to be disappointed!!!
First of all, just to be fair I did get refund for the undelivered flowers I ordered. But what 1800flowers.ca had done to me is not forgivable.
I ordered 4 baskets of flowers $89.59 each 4 days ahead of time for my mother's funeral. I requested them to be delivered to a Chapel between 9:00am and 12:00noon for 2:00pm viewing service. I called the Chapel at 12:00noon on that day to find out that there were no flowers showed up. I called 1-877-450-8664 3 times between 12noon and 12:30pm. I was told again and again that someone will call me back. Around 1:45pm, I called the 4th time and asked to talk to a manager. The answer was I reached the sale department, and the sale people do not have ability to connect me with anyone. The only thing they could do was to leave a message for the manager to call me back. There was nothing I could do at that point the service went on without the flowers and no explanations from the company either. I did get a delivery notification email though said the flowers are delivered at 2:00pm later the same afternoon.
I got a phone call from the company said she was sorry the next day and asked whether I would like to have the baskets delivered to a different location. I wonder what she was thinking.

Bad service

A very bad company. I ordered 4 dozen long stem premium roses cost over $200 and only one dozen was delivered. It was for our grandma'sbig 80th birthday. Customer service only willing to refund the 3 dozens they did not send. How about the not so premium one dozen and the ruining of the occasion? very unreliable !!!

I ordered a gift basket, but what was delivered is just a random flower bouquet. Really?? Like if no one would ever notice! It made me look like an idiot with a card message I sent it with.
I don’t want for the basket to be resent, I do not want their discount, I just want my refund and I want to forget about this company and the situation they forced me to walk through.

I ordered flowers for a birthday present for my daughter to be delivered on May 6/16. Her birthday is May7. I went to her house on May 7/16. When I saw the flowers(roses) they were already starting to die. The callas lillies were turning brown on the top. I called 1800flowers.ca and was told by a automated voice to call back Monday. I phoned on Mon. no answer left several messages asking for a call back. The 1 time I actually talked to someone was on Frday and was told the manager was off and would be returning On Mon May 16/16, I asked why no one called me back and was told the manager had to be the person to look into this matter.
On Mon I called and was told the manager was on a conference call so I asked the person I was talking to to leave a message to have the manager call me. There was also a picture of the flowers sent in. I called back in the afternoon and was told the manager hadn't come to work as she was off sick and had not come in that day. I phoned on Tues. and was put through to the manager all I got was a voicemail. I left a message asking her to call me. I have not received any calls from her and it is Wed. at 1:45p.m. I will never deal with this company again

Unhappy customer

I ordered a bouquet of flowers from 1-800flowers.ca. Canadian website to be delivered by 7 PM on July 4th. When the flowers were not delivered at 8 PM I called the number on my email confirmation. It goes to an American customer service centre and she said they weren't delivered as they have no delivery service in Calgary. Strange, it's a big city. Well why wasn't I called to let me know this? Because July 4th is a holiday in the States so no one was working in that department.

Will never deal with this company again. Yet they hope they can help me in the future. Not likely.

Appalling Service

DO NOT ORDER from this company!!!! I've had an absolutely appalling experience dealing with this company! We have had a death in the family, I placed an order for two bouquets to be delivered to my Grandmother on Monday.

I rcvd a voicemail to call them as my order could NOT be fulfilled. After 3 calls, one of which I was assured my order WAS going through, they tell me they to do not deliver to Canada. Even though it was a dot ca website, in Canadian funds asking for a postal code NOT zip code.

They still took over $200 from me, and then refused to provide a ref#/file#/auth# regarding a pending refund. I have now had 5-7 calls and well over 2hours of time on the phn.

Day 3..while on hold back & forth for over an hour I see a credit come through for a fraction of what I paid. The credit is for less than one of the bouquets. 3 service reps have told me they have emailed me letter stating a refund is pending...they have NOT emailed anything but a coupon for $20 and a survey req. Now on day 4, still no email.

It is hard enough dealing with a family loss, and not being able to be with family during our sorrow, now add on being taken for $200+ of my money. I can't afford to send flowers from a REPUTABLE company because this crappy company still has my money! This company takes the cake for worst customer experience I have ever had! I am fuming, emotional and struggling thanks to them! :( Wish I checked their Facebook reviews before I ordered, loads of bad reviews. thanks for breaking my heart more...just what I needed.

Delivered a week too soon, and then lied

Ordered flowers in advance for someone having surgery. Problem was, they delivered them a week BEFORE the persons' surgery. Embarrassing and unprofessional. And when I called to complain and make it right on the correct date, they suddenly couldn't deliver on the proper date, only 3 days later. Yet their website says they can deliver it, as I went to their site while talking to customer service and it would let me there. So their website lies! So I demanded my money back, only to be told they wouldn't reimburse me for the surcharge and delivery fees (meaning they were keeping over $20)! AWFUL. Ela the girl on customer service just kept saying "I'm sorry" but the entire experience has been atrocious. All I wanted was for the flowers to be delivered as scheduled. And while she was trying to figure out how to process my refund she hung up on me after 45 minutes of waiting!! So I called back and got an "Ela" only to be told it wasn't the same Ela. Seriously!! Sounds like the same Ela to me.
So now I speak with Ela2, I asked to speak to the supervisor. Put on hold 4 more times. Meanwhile told she Ela2 is working on my refund which interestingly is now $40+ less than it should be. So I again ask to speak with the supervisor. After I finally get a supervisory, Jay, I'm now suddenly told they can deliver on the 22nd. I indicate I don't want it now that I have wasted 1 1/2 hours, I want a full refund. So then they finally offer me one in USA Dollars. But my order is in Canadian Dollars as I ordered it on the Canadian website. And with the exchange today versus Friday when I purchased, I actually am loosing over CDN$5 on this exchange. This organization is dishonest and disreputable. Don't order from here. Buyer beware.
