Dear Sir, we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please provide us your YuppTV login id. I will immediately arrange a call to get the issue resolved.
Regarding the live channels, all are channels are Live. We provide them at Live (IST), Live (CST) and VODs. Only Star Vijay channel is International channel which is a regular channel available through out USA. If you will compare that channel with India than you might find some difference as both the channels are completely different.

I had the same experience with them and I don't know why people are not taking them to court for this. They are violating terms and conditions and should be penalized for the same. Why should the service be forced on me if your system cannot handle cancellations on some particular day! This is the first time that I've heard of such thing considering the fact that I have about 7 years of billing developments background.
Worst business, worst customer care!!

Dear Sir, We never force our services to consumers. Its true that we cannot cancel package between 1st to 3rd of any month but we will give you the refund from the date you have asked for the cancellation. If you have asked to cacel your package on 2nd jan say, we will cancel your package on 3rd but provide you the refund from 2nd itself. If you see you are the one getting benefit here. You are getting a day of service free of charge. Please let us know your login id at support@globaltakeoff.com and we would do the needful. IIf you find this reply helpful, I would really appreciate if you can upload a positive comment in this thread.

These crooks seem like a scam. I've asked for cancellation as well three days ago. But there is no response. They will continue to charge you. Pathetic bastards

There is a particular process for every thing. and this is a great task that we can watch the india channels across the world, so please get in touch with the correct person the Tech team are customer service reps, so that they can resolve the issue.
Mail them the information and they will get back to you for sure.

The same story here. No cancellation on 1st to the 3rd of every month, and then the person I chatted with - Charan - says that there will be no refund either. I will be charged for the entire month. Complete nonsense.

Iam sorry friends that i was confident that YUPP TV (Global Take Off) will take care of the issues, but i will not infact it can not do so.. as per the information from the employees of YUPP TV i heard that the services will be shutting down by end of MAY 2012. the company is in to losses and the employee salaries are not paid in time. Incase if you YUPP TV is not cancelling your account please file and case in Paypal and they will reverse the amount.
YUPP TV promised that we can cancel the subscription any time, i heard that after kushal (manager) and swapna leaving YUPP TV the situations are very bad. so cancel your subscription and move to reliable IP TV are Dish TV. its a suggestions and please inform your friends that they can cancel the package and incase the YUPP TV is not cancelling your account then charge it from paypal. dont trust this YUPP TV. the customer service sucks and people will suffer..

so friends becare ful and dont pay any amount...

Hello Folks!
I have been using YUPP TV since 3 years now and recently they have added few Hindi channels as well. I personally know few technical support employees, they have always been helpful with all the issues. At times they have been generous to extend my packages also with out any cost. I am not sure how did our friend Visesh came to so many nasty conclusions and know so much about companies employees and even its business. Why would a company purchase more contents such as Zee Tv and few Start channels. Anyways there are few people who uses wrong practices to demote its competitor or try to rubbish things.

I have been a customer for yupptv.com from last 2 and half years. i think its a great service. Can any one of the guys complained here can give me another websites where i can watch TV channels on all devices like xbox, ps3, iphone or any device with a single account. I think yupptv is the only unique service which provides all those things. When coming customer care. I never had chatted with them in last 2 years, bcase i have no issues to chat. One guiy claimed that there is no money with yupptv. But i cannot understand, if there is no money how can advertise their product. any telugu site or tamil site i go i can see the ads of yupptv.com only . Last but no the least is their any other company which provides telugu, tamil, kannada, malayalam, hindi, english, bangla languages.

Sony media player not working

I have been using SONY SMP-N200 media player since 11/6/2012. No problems until last week (Jan 2015). When I click to open the package I subscribe to it gave me an error message: go to yupptv web site and enter the code to activate. When I complained about this problem, yupptv told me that all Sony media players in the US have the same problem. Ticket # 59422.
The media player has no problem with youtube or internet browser applications. They wanted 24 hours to fix the problem. After 24 hours, it worked fine.
Yesterday (Jan 20, 2015) I was getting error messages: " a network error occurred. Retry or Cancel" I kept clicking Retry button, sometimes it proceeds to next steps. When I click a channel, I get another error message: " An error occurred. Do you want to reset Network settings? yes or no" I proceed with checking the network status, network connections, run network diagnostics, checked the system information (the mac and IP addresses, provisioning server connection succeeded, ) Everything looked fine. Power off the media player and start. The same error messages appear. I repeated this step more than 10 times and got frustrated. Today (Jan 21, 2015) called yupptv. They asked me to check the same things again. He could not tell me what the problem was whether this problem is unique to my setup or all Sony media players in the US. Ticket # 64042. He asked for 3-4 days to correct the problem. Sometimes I got the error message: "the network is down". After a while, it is restored. He would not waive my subscription to prorate the non-use of their services. This idea is foreign to them. I wonder if others have similar problems and if there are solutions. The ultimate solution I know is to cancel my subscription. The tech support is poor. When they speak it is not audible and talk too fast to understand.
I am talking to my friends in the Bay Area and other States to see if they also have similar problems. Yupptv is the only application that gives problems.

Hold account for 2 month

I am using yupptv since 2 years, 1 week before the billing cycle I request the operator on chat to put a hold on account for 2 month, as i will be on vacation, when i check today i have been charge, when i checked with the operator they said due to some system issue the request didn't get processed and he said i have to cancel the service to get refund and to activate again i have to pay $10. I already paid activation fee last time and i have to pay again if i want to activate the service. Its a YUPPTV poor service and customer have pay for the errors. I will rather cancel the services and look for the better options. very very poor service, I will not recommend it to anybody and will never come back.

Samsung media player not working

I have just received a call from a friend who has a Samsung media player and is experiencing a similar issue. I do not have much detail at the moment except that they have called Yupp who advised that the Yupp broadcast is fine but Samsung were upgrading their system. Sounds more like a Yupp issue if it is happening on both Sony and Samsung products.

YUPPTV: Pathetic Service

An hour back I incidentally subscribed to YUPPTV's Telugu Hindi Gold package.

While I was reviewing my transaction online that includes a bank provided coupon, I noticed that they were charging me 2 separate charges for Device Activation and Service Activation, each $10 (total $20). Then I called their customer service if they can waive it off - the lady said she cannot. I said fine, and thinking whether should I subscribe to it or not. I was SUBMIT button away from buying it. Then from nowhere I got a call YUPP TV customer service, and the lady first asked me if am I facing any technical difficulties. After a little conversation, she offered me 15 days extra free service if I subscribe right away, and then she extended it to 1 month. I said great, and subscribed to the service and got ready to go to bed.

After 5 mins, my wife got a call on her cell# (she was sleeping, its 12am EST). She got so furious, we both work, and we need to wake up by 5:30 EST. This lady started saying that I used my coupon, so she cannot extend the 1 month extra service offered. I asked her is it the time to discuss this at this time. When I told her that after talking to her only (remind you, they called me and offered the extra service, I didn't ask for it), I subscribed to the service now why are you talking like this? She insisted I used my coupon so she will take back the extra month offered. When I got frustrated, I asked for her manager. He is a great guy. First asks me whether he can do anything for me. I told him, you guys called me, so he should tell me. They this guy repeats the same stuff. I told him in US, when you got a coupon and the store offers a discount, usually the coupon goes on top of the stores discount. And I didn't ask for an extra month free service but their customer service offered and then only I subscribed to the service. But this manager guy is clueless how to respond to the customer but seemed very confused person. I asked him why at the first place, the transaction went through? If it is through means, it is a done deal. He shouldn't come back and give me crap reasons and cut down on the service I purchased. As I said, he is clueless, and stuck to the same point that they will take away the 1 month extension service offered.

Such is the crap customer service. It is 12:50 EST Monday. Everyone reading this review hope would understand the frustration I went through that made me to write this review at this time without sleeping.

I wanted to give 1 star, but gave one extra as a benefit of doubt that at least the actual package service would be good. I'll see for few days and decide to keep the 1 star or not.

Satisfactory service

Hi , I was using dish world for past 5 years. After one of my friend recommended yupptv i wanted to try it before i subscribe. I decided to call them to check if they have any special deals. As i was been referred by one of my friend, I and my friend both got $15 amazon coupon . Not only that i was also offered free movie package as a special deal . I am very happy with there service though they have limited channels. Waiting for them to add more Hindi channels in our location..

Your doing great Yupptv with your low price packages and effective service..

WORST Customer service. NO respect to customer. They things they can survive with any way. Choose the other services. I would pay more for other provider than YUPPTV.

Deceptive marketing

2 months back I saw their offer for free media streaming device offer and took the offer even when I had 6 weeks remaining on my current plan as they offered to compensate for the lost weeks with a free2 months extension and free media streaming device, I was charged for the shipping for the Streaming device but even after 2 months I did get the streaming device nor they charge back the additional amount they charged me for the device and shipping. Thought the pricing is decent but look they make their money with these deceptive marketing methods and decive the customer. Was planning to raise dispute with credit card company for excessive billing and FTC for wrongly advertising. But thought to share with fellow folks they are cautious when dealing with this company.

beware of Yupptv

Yupptv people is making autodebit payments from the customers. dont share the bank details to them. i took one yr subscription. After completion of subcription, it will go to monthly subscription automatically and the money will be auto debited from bank account. When i raise the issue, they said it is a company terms & conditions. i am really surprised that even the GOVT institutions will interrupt the services if the customer did not turn up, but this private firm has all the rights to take the money from the bank account. how come this firm isoperating without business ethics.

Not ready for public service

Yupp TV's intention is good, prices are great but the quality is not ready for production/subscription. It feels like it's in testing stages. I had it for a year and spent dozens of hours chatting with their support on streaming issues. The people are great but the technology is not scaling. When you call or chat with them, they reroute the stream and works fine for a while but the issue comes back within a few hours like clock work. Finally I gave up on it and switched to Dish network where they have plenty of south asian packages. I'd like to switch to Yupp TV back once I know they have improved.

Deceptive marketing - update

Update to my previous post with same title. One msg public forum partially fixed which 3 or 4 calls to their customer support couldn't fix. Didn't know if this the we need to get issues fixed.

Need to appreciate the customer support person who contacted me post the above complaint and offered fire stick instead of the promised streaming device. Something is better than nothing goes with them. Issue can be treated as closed.

Don't go with Yupp TV. It does not work

I am trying to watch Yupp TV on Sony media player that I bought recently. Sometimes it works and some times I get error message saying that "A network error caused the video to stop playing/downloading". Off late I see this happening many times and I have to restart the Sony media player to fix this issue. I am not having issue with other streaming applications like "Netflix" or "Hulu" or YouTube. I tried resolving this issue with Yupp TV customer care and they have no clue on what's happening. They tried to blame it on my internet connection. How is my internet connection at fault when other applications are working fine? They don't have an answer. I am planning to end my subscription and will never recommend Yupp TV to anyone. I am planning to switch to reliable IP tv and see how it works.
