Refuses to act

Thanks for the heads up i did'nt know that google/you tube were affiliated.google has been trying to get me to Switch to their "New Look" for a few months now, the fact that i did not do it on my own should have told them that i was not interested.Yesterday when i tried to access my email, up comes the Google Nazi, i have a choice i can switch to the new look or he will just block my access to my email as there is no way to close that window or even delete him.So i have spent the better part of the last 2 days informing all of my contacts that i no longer have an email address and closing all online accounts as well, and now will be forced to restore my computer to factory settings just to remove the Google Program from my hard drive as there is no other way to do it.So i will just use the internet company that i already pay my monthly bill to for an email account and have them be my homepage or choose another one.

@ Cranky Old Lady - That's odd. I have the same message pop up asking me if I want to try the new look but I have no problem closing it. it has not affected my being able to access my mail at all.

Paul Honey, i got that message for a few months before they shut me down, And i did switch to a new look, and it was'nt theirs. So be careful the day may come when the Google Nazi (a picture of a man, gives you one option Switch to the new look, there is no way to close his picture down) and there will be no way to access your emaill, they did'nt do it to me right away either- it took them a few months.If I were you i would have a back up email address you will most likely need it my dear.And good luck if Google is your homepage you may find yourself in the same mess i found myself in, new homepage, new email address and closing down and opening new accounts with all of my contacts, that i was'nt able to chamge my email address with, some of that had to be done over the phone and a few days later i'am still not done cleaning up the mess.
