Guys... I have been delivered the vehicle in the second week of November..but from day one I have been struggling with these people with a list of complaints...they have concentrated only on marketing hype but there is total chaos in the performance..Though the vehicle was picked up by them for corrections nothing has been done..First of all the gadgets..the much talked about is a failure...blue tooth is the example...you get the calls but the caller is complaining that the voice on their side is very feeble like from a well..i am told that the mic was replaced but the tragedy continues...then the tiretronics...which is showing the tyre pressures on the screen...it is another headache which is not alright and distracts the driving by constant and continuous alerts though the pressure is checked manually...again the advice is try nitrogen air...how many places you have the facility? overtaking of the vehicles on the side on both right and left is not clear and the extended body shape cuts the view..however you adjust the mirrors...you could see there is no proper console to keep the mobile and the only choice is Bluetooth for self driving..if you connect with headphones the wire gets clipped with either the gear rod or hand brake...the most serious one is the suspension...it gives lot of jolts even on small pits...especially if you are single you are finished..I have gone to Kodaikkanal and the hilly area you know with potholes...that has become a nightmare...but the look kills everyone... but you cannot invite others envy on your own money...somebody who is well versed with automobiles can check these and correct me if i am wrong...I am planning legal action soon ...Balu, , chennai

Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is to inform you that I Goutam Kumar Biswas, R/O 3, Swami Vivekananda Road Extn. Kolkata- 700032 is a registered owner of XUV 500, (WB 06 J 8144). Mentioned Vehicle purchased from Shree Automotive Pvt. Ltd, Ved Bhumi, Koyla Vihar, VIP Road, Kolkata - 700052, dated: 30 Mar. 2021. With following specification:
colour: Maragrey, Chassis No: C6c78268; Engine No: HJC4B18129. After delivered the above mentioned vehicle I noticed two problems have been arrived.
I. Vehicle Pulling on left hand side and
2. Fuel leakage.
Then and there I informed to Relationship Manger- After sales, Mr. Amrish Banerjee over Telephone and requested to him for checking and solved the above mentioned problems.
4th. April 2012 Amrish and customer care manager of M&M meet with me and agreed regarding the problems

This is just to confirm that as per commitment we have inspected your vehicle at your place on the 4th of April 2012 along with the customer care manager from Mahindra & Mahindra.
We have found that the complaint that you had given me is absolutely correct and we have detected the same.
We have brought your vehicle XUV5OO W8 to our workshop to rectify the minor problems of fuel leakage and left hand side vehicle pulling on the 4th of April 2012.
We have received your vehicle at odometer reading 149 kms and full tank fuel. Though the fuel has dropped one bar on our way to the workshop. 1pc pillow has been in your vehicle along with the normal toolkit, jack and handle, wheel range and service manual. There are no other accessories fitted in your vehicle.
I intend to complete your vehicle by tomorrow and conduct a road test personally and check that all issues have been resolved. As soon as I am satisfied I will call you personally and deliver your vehicle back to you on the 6th of April 2012. I will confirm timing of delivery as soon I complete final check up of your XUV5oo .
I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you and promise to complete and deliver your vehicle at the earliest so that you can enjoy your XUV5oo experience.

Hello,
Sir I have received you vehicle XUV5oo for minor repair of fuel leakage near fuel tank neck hose.
We have received your vehicle at 12.30 pm on the 7th of April 2012 and 166kms. We have inspected and found that the rubber hose is faulty and needs to be replaced.
We have already given a high speed order for the above mentioned part.
As per your thought we will conduct a road test to check whether vehicle is pulling Left hand side or not.
Tentative delivery date: 11th April 2012-04-11
Tentative delivery time: 7pm to 7.30pm.
Now case is that same problems not solved.
Please suggested me what can I do regarding said matter and take proper initiative as quick as possible and also reply me with in one day.

Breaking system
I introduce myself as a leading & reputed labour contractor in Hosur & Bangalore. I started my business in a small way and I was using a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle bearing Registration No. KA 05 M 313 from the year 2004 to 2009 for my commutation. By God’s grace my business got developed & Infact I attached a sentiment to the Mahindra vehicle I was using. When I wanted to go in for a new vehicle, because of the passion & sentiment attached to Mahindra. I nearly waited for three years to get Mahindra XUV 500.
I purchased Mahindra vehicle Registration No. KA 51 MC 3020 in the year February 2012. Generally I was happy with the performance of the vehicle so far. But, I regret to inform that on 11.04.2012, when I was travelling from Coimbatore to Hosur in Mahindra XUV 500 vehicle bearing Registration No. KA 51 MC 3020 along with my family members, Suddenly a TATA Ace vehicle which was proceeding our vehicle took a right turn, resulting in applying of sudden break. However, the vehicle could not stop immediately, on the other hand, it hit the rear right side of the TATA Ace vehicle and our vehicle swirled to the right side of the road, tilted and both vehicles dragged to the left side of the road causing heavy damage. Fortunately, either me or my family members sustained any injury out of this accident. Had the vehicle been tilted on the right side of the road, it is unimaginable about the fate. When I checked with a few of XUV 500 owners, I could understand that the braking system in the new XUV 500 is not effective. I also suspect that this could be the reason for this accident. However, because of the sturdiness of the body of the vehicle, we are saved. Thanks to the Team Mahindra.
Hence I request you to inspect my vehicle through your technicians & find out a remedy. My vehicle is at M/s. Sireesh Auto (pvt) Ltd, Bangalore.
An early reply and speed action is highly appreciatable.

XUV W8 battery dried out in 2.5 yrs against the standard 4-5 yrs of running time
Guyz, am facing issues off late with xuv batteries and all of sudden it stopped starting. When complained with xuv personnel even though i am covered under RSA they ask for huge sum before actually turning up for the service. The attitude of the xuv executives is way disappointed and the service is pathetic to the core. It is correct they talk more about the service but the ground reality is quite different. I warn those customers who are planning to buy this vehicle and later suffering due to various service issues. They really need to do a revolution in getting the customer satisfaction.
