WHA THE F***

I joined Wind Mobile on November-2O11 by purchasing the two Phone lines 613-4000183 and 613-4008183 under the name Nazar Tokan. My Monthly plan was $29+tax A month under the ( Oh Canada Plan ). Upon the beginning of June 2012 the service on both lines slowly started disappearing and there were a lot of times when the service would be completely shutdown. I called customer service numerous times regarding this issue all through month June. By July my service was completely off. I have called enough times and all I would get is “ we are sorry for this, your line should be reactivated by tonight”, “ we apologize this has been happening to you a number of times, we’ll bring your line right back up. Thank you for your time sir”!!. My last attempt to speak to a representative was July 17 2012-07-25 around the hour of 2:30pm. I spoke to Mr.Jihad during this conversation and he informed me that there was a balance of 600$ on my account and that this was the reason for my disconnection. He told me that this is due to using my phone line outside of Ottawa, which is NOT even Mathematically Possible. Because there was ONLY ONE time I ONLY texted very few times, while I was in Montreal, I was still surprised that my bill went up to $106.78!!from the usual amount which is around $65!. That’s around $42 EXTRA Dollars if you apply that to your rules of away texting which I will copy FROM YOUR site below it would mean..$ 42 dollars divided by 15cents a text that would equal 280!!!! That means I texted 280 times!!!! which is NOT TRUE and NEVER happened!! Not to mention that it’s also FREE to RECEIVE texts while away as well!! But I still accepted it and thought it was because I texted a couple of times away without even complaining about it and paid a bill of $106.78. And on top of allllll that I get my line deactivated for over 2MONTHS!.. I informed Mr.Jihad that I was at WITTS end and I have been calling to get my phone reactivated around 3 time DAILY!! Only to have texting and calling back from alll which I SHOULD be able to do according to my plan offers and a bunch of Confirmation numbers and apologies. And yet on TOP it would go off service again after 15 minutes!! This is bullshitt and I RIFUSE to put up with this shitty service any longer!! . I gave Mr.Jihad until July 19th and told him if by then my service is still not reinstated I would Completely Terminate my line with Wind Mobile. He gave me this Confirmation Number C9842109 and said we need 5 business days even though I told him I’m not waiting till after July 19th which he didn’t say anything to!. And I STILL waited till Tuesday and waited allll this time with NO SERVICE and STILL got NO call like they said I would I got nothing regarding this and today is wednesday2012-07-25 and there is still NOTHING regarding my line. And Therefore I am Terminating my line with Wind.

Most charges you incur when you use your WIND phone from an AWAY Zone are pay-per-use.
Here are our current rates:
• US/Canada Roaming- 25c/min When outside a WIND Zone, receive a call or make a call to anywhere in Canada or the US– no extra long distance charges apply.
• US/Canada Texting- 15c/txt Send a text message to anywhere in Canada or the U.S. while you’re outside a WIND Zone. Receiving text messages is always free.
• Data Roaming- 10c/25kB Ten cents will cover enough data for approximately two average web pages.

defect phone

I just switched over to Wind last week. The new phone I brought was defective, I only had it for 3 days and it gave me problems everyday.
Today I took it back to the store where I bought it, the person saw the problems I have been having and he filed the 'defective report'.
However, the phone he gave to me is a refurbished phone. The refurbished phone is not in as a good condition as the new defective phone I had. He said it is the company policy for people that return their defective phone, they can only get a refurbished phone as a replacement. I don't see the why I couldn't get a new phone?
The "lightly used phone" was in a horrible condition compare to my brand new phone from before. The nasty and greasy finger prints all over the phone, the box came with the phone looks have wore out, all the accessories came with the seem like have been heavily used or not proper maintained.
The phone I returned still have most of the plastic covers on the phone, the battery was proper charged, all the accessories are still in their original wrapper.
For a new client switching over from other phone provider, getting a used phone it's not a very good start. Seriousily considering swtich back..
I waited for the phone I actually wanted for over 2 weeks, the person works at the store lost my phone number 3 times over that period of time. He said he would call me as soon as he hears somethign or he would call me back either way by the end of the day. I HAVE to call them back everytime, they said they are waitting to hear back from the other store, then days passed by and I have to call them AGAIN. In the end I picked another phone, apparently they didn't have the phone I wanted anymore, but he didn't bother to tell me that.
I went to the same store and talked to the same guy 3 times, he talked to me like he has never seen me before, horrible service!

Horrible cellular coverage and poor customer service

Wind Mobile is deceiving new and existing customers by falsely advertising areas of cellular service, and provide poor quality customer service. We have gone back and forth with Wind Mobile about cellular coverage not working for our phone at our house as well as my father's work place in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (both of these areas show full coverage on Wind Mobile coverage Maps).

We have followed all instructions from resetting the phone, calling customer service, and contacting CCTS. It's been over a month and we have not had a reasonable resolution in this matter. We have been getting a run around and feel Wind Mobile is following unethical and unfair business practices.

Wind Mobile is not returning our hardware nor allowing us to exchange it for a phone that may work. They should update their service coverage maps to reflect the actual service coverage, and also refund all their existing customers costs of their hardware and subscriptions who are also victims of false advertising. They should also re-visit their customer service policies, processes, and get new agents that can communicate in English more than just two or three sentences.
