Harp Loans

Really hard to post a complaint. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage want to charge me over $3000 to refinance our home. Ads say that there are no additional charges for harp loans and that not necessary to do new appraisals. Either someone is lying or something illegal is being done. Anyone got any suggestions? Been with Wells Fargo for 10 years, no late payments, no missed payments. Went in to talk to agent at local bank. Got the feeling that because we pay our bills, Wells Fargo did not want to help us through HARP because they would lose money. Know they are in trouble because bogus accounts were opened to meet goals. This is not the way to “win friends and influence people!”
