False Advertising
I have the Sony Xperia Z3 and Vodacom advertise this phone as a waterproof device. Recently my phone stopped working and I took it in for service at Vodacom twice and they claimed that it is broken due to liquid damage (water or condensation). They refused to fix my phone and said that it is not their problem. According to the Consumer Protection Act, they can not advertise a product if they are not going to stick to their word. This was a really poor service and I had to take my phone in to a private company that were willing to try to fix my phone. This service really disappointed me and I feel that vodacom did not do everything they possibly could to fix my phone. This was FALSE ADVERTISING and if they do not take action, i will take further action against a poor service and for them breaking the Consumer Protection Act.
