I too a victim of Vacation Intl, Dubai. I was also lured into this when we were in Burjuman . Next day I got a call of the raffle draw. Then to cut the story short, I have paid Dh 14, 550 and after realising all false promises, have requested for refund.
As expected, No reply so far.
Let us all join together and fight this fraud

False commitment & poor customer service
Hello,
I realiaze now that i have just been duped by this company. I just paid 17, 950AED representing 50% part payment on 4th January, 2012 having been on vacation in Dubai.
All promises made by the company is unfortunately false. I am very furious with myself for falling into this trap. And they know what they are doing when they tell you to come with your family. In this instance, it was my wife that got us to sign ths contract, because she does a lot of travelling ans she would benefit from this investment.
I would not longer subscribe payment to his scheme. It is a complete fraud.
Is it possible to collect back this money that translate to over $4, 000? I am open to any suggestion or advice.

Hello Mohammed,
I was recently a victim of this fraud - 4th January, 2012 from the review so far read. I thought this was a honest company operaing in Dubai with the strict laws. How could the authority continue to allow such compny to operate in view of this huge fraud!
I have sent you an email with my details. I hope i can still benefit from this group pressure to collect back our money and to get the law to ban the operation of this fraudulent company. They extorted 17, 950AED from me which ia about $4, 000 through my credit card. I can't believe i fell for this!
Anyway, i will appreciate any form of assistance to pursue this issue to its end.

I am in support of filing a case against them although i don't know how the legal system in Dubai works. unfortunately, i don't live nor work in UAE. I was only in Dubai for vacation with my family. Hi All,
Same as you all, I attended their presentation, as it was the only condition to get the free week stay! It was a 4 HOURS presentation (seriously 4 hours!!), not at all convincing so thank God we did not pay! We tried contacting them back soooo many times through phone, email or fax and they kept saying "we will revert back to you shortly' for the past 8 months! this is FAKE ADVERTISING to push people attend their boring presentation! this is FRAUD! and even though I did not put any money, I will still complain about it! I did my part of the contract by attending their presentation, they need to honour theirs by offering the free week!

The crooks don't have a website. You can google all combination you can imagine, you wouldn't get a reference to their website. Even their contract has no reference to a website address. Noticed this after travelling back to my base.

Same is our case. My wife and I went there and they lured us into this trap. We did not want to invest but they put so much pressure and I dont know what techniques that in the end we agreed to pay AED 1000 against 2 extra weeks of holiday anywhere in the world out of the 90 locations, saying that you sign the contract now, but only if you want to pay the balance amount after 8 months, you pay us otherwise there is no obligation. They also made us sign the contract. They do everything in such hurry they you dont realize what they are actually doing. When we came back and read the contract and the holiday they mentioned, its all wrong ! They mentioned only 2 locations on the holiday sheet - some Sharm Sheikh and Harguda.They dont have a website, toll free number, nothing ! Can they force us to pay the remaining amount mentioned in the contract? What is the validity of such contracts ? Can someone help us please.

Hi,
You call them "Vacation International" but have you noticed in their office the signage was "Interval World"? Also, in the video they show you during the presentation, it was called Interval World. On the form I got for the "Free stay week", the sales wrote also "Interval World".

Dear All,
I do agree with your comments. But don't wait for all to lodge a compalint together but rather give the complaints individually. So atleast in future, all the visitors will be saved. I have also lost money (AED 1000) in vacation international and because i read all the comments, i am saved. I have send an email to the vacation international to refund my money. Please do lodge a complaint to the Dubai Police to save your money as well as others too.

I also got invitaion from one Vacation international agent his number: 055:3236038 Name Saber, another lady next day called from 04:2276629 Name: Amira . Requesting me to come with my family to their office opposite Al Kabayal Center. Thanks all people who put thier complaint, I saved my time and escaped from a fraud ganag.

Today I also received call from them and asked me to come their office in evening.
Thanks to you guys that I read all these comments and decided not to visit these frauds.
But i wonder how these scoundrels have been cheating for so long.. though i read this has been happening since 2008 and not only in Dubai but different regions of Middle East. This is really fishy and pathetic indeed and this has to be resolved ASAP..!

Dear All,
Thanks for such a valuable info. I was also supposed fall as a victim of this scam. Thanks God I just googled it and reached this post to find out that its a scam. Well me and my wife went to Deira City Centre yesterday for some shopping and suddently an Egyptian guy approached us who is very talkative and filled a form by himself and gave us its counterfoil, saying there is going to be a promotional tour arrangement and our details are taken to be put in a lucky draw. If we win the draw, we will be contacted and asked us to appear at their office in the evening.
Surprisingly as this guy told, next day morning while I was working @ my office, one lady called from the tel no. 04-2234099 and informed me that Congratulations! that I have won the raffle and asked me to appear along with my family @ their office in Deira which is opposite to Al Kabayl Discount Centre, Dubai. But luckily after seeing all you good guy's above posts, I never went there.
Now that I feel lucky and thank you so much for such a valuable info.
