unfair billing

They have charged me $150.00 for fixing the printer which does not work since then. They still have to come and re-repair it. I am not able to get them answer the phone.

US Tech Support

On 4/9/13 I received an e-mail that my subscription to MyCleanPc has been renewed. Upon entering the licence code in the activation field the program would not unlock. After several attemps I went to the www.regnow.com website to look up my order, to find that although I was billed $39.98 my receipt said total $0.00. I did a search for mycleanpc.com and called the company on 5/26/13. Told the rep the activation code did not work. She said I needed the newer version of the software and the asked if I had any problems with my computer. Naturally my answer was yes and before I knew was sold into the $99 program with monthly recurring charge of $14.95 for online support and online backup. I didnt want the monthly charge but was told I could cancel it exactly 30 days later if I chose to do so. I called back 32 days later and was told no refund possible. The $99 program break down is as follows:
Live tech $99, Online backup $0, PC Optimizer $0, Early detection center 4 $0.
So they took my $39.98 and gave me a licence code that did not work then gave me a receipt for $0 then sold me another $99 of product that by the way include the PC optimizer (formerly known as mycleanpc) for $0 (even though I paid $39.98). I was told that upon my termination I would not have access to any of the product line including the PC Optimizer. I terminated the contract anyway since I dont want to be in business with shady companies that has shady practices. If I have to pay $180 per year just to keep my computer running then Id rather buy a new laptop every 3 years which will be way better value. Why would you want to pay for online backup when you can get it free through microsoft? Read their cancellation policy after the fact, you can cancel at any time but if you are in the 30 day window you bought yourself 30 days of service, so you have to cancel before the next billing cycle.

Terrible service

I purchased a 3 year program from My Clean PC and everything was great until UST took over. I have had to call them 4 times since July and they could never get my computer fixed. They just worked on it again and have removed all of the programs and services I purchased from them. They put Microsoft Security Essentials on my machine without telling me. They have refused to refund me the unused portion of the contract because I didn't ask for one within 90 days of purchasing the program. I loved it when it was Cyberfender (mycleanpc), but it has never worked since they changed over to their security service. I would definitely not recommend them for anything. I really miss the service I got from My Clean PC.

Terrible service

I called US Tech support on Friday, June 20 for help on a slow running computer. Like an idiot I fell for their advertisement that the cost was 19.99. Not so. The cost is $100.00 plus $19.99. Thereafter there is a monthly fee of $19.99. They dialed into my computer and supposedly cleaned it up and removed unneeded files. On Saturday when using the computer it didn't work any better plus I got the dreaded "blue" screen twice. On Sunday the same thing. Could not use the computer. I tried again on Monday and got the blue screen again. I called and told them they had made the computer worse and I wanted it fixed. They dialed in and again fixed the computer. The technician called me and said he removed two corrupt files and all was fixed. 30 minutes after talking to the technician when I tried to use the computer I got the "blue" screen. Called them right back and really complained. Have not heard from them since. They said they would fix it. The computer will never work right again and is pretty much toast. I also found out that when you call the numbers listed, you talk to someone in the Phillipines. They call a technician in California. The person in the Phillipines dials into your computer and then patches the technician from California into it.
This is a terrible company! Do not use them! They rank right up there with the Geek Squad for costly repairs without the repairs. Your computer will never work as well as it did even before any service from them. This company should be shut down.

US tech support What a scam

When you call US tech support, the first thing you will notice is someone you cannot speak with, because you can't understand them. The whole time he's inside your computer working remotely you have no idea what he's doing and cant understand what he saying. Then the initial charge of $19.99 jumps to $99 for repairs and if they can't repair it will charge you more to come out and repair it physically. After 3 times of trying to repair my computer they could not repair it, but would not give me a refund! A year later I find they're still charging my credit card for a subscription that I cancelled!! If your computer has serious problems just get rid of it! US tech support is not worth the time, effort or headache!
