False advertising and promotions!
Got an email yesterday morning saying BRU was having an 8 hour cyber sale that lasted from 11Am-7PM EST. Clicked on the link in the email around 11:30 CST and noticed that the Chicco carseat hubby and I had picked out was on sale for $151.99 down from $189.00! I was super excited b/c it's a BRU exclusive color and they NEVER have them on sale!!! Went home for lunch to hubby who stayed home sick. Showed him the deal, got his blessing on buying it, went back to work and the browser I left up at work had changed the price on the carseat in my shopping cart to $170.99. I thought I was seeing things, so I went through the whole process again...same price...$170.99. I was dumbfounded since it was only 1:30 CST and although I'm terrible with timezones, I'm fairly certain it's waaaaay before 7PM EST!!!
So I call BRU. First lady said they don't price match. I explained it all to her again...she said sorry. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said, "I'm sorry, they are too busy to talk with you right now, but I can leave you on hold for one minute to see..." so I did that...of course, no luck. I immediately called back into BRU and the young man I got this time was MUCH nicer. He looked up the price history of their website and said sure enough, less than an hour ago it had been $151.99! Duh! He said he would personally walk over to a supervisor and ask her because he knew there was no way me "holding" would work. Apparently the supervisor said they don't price match. I explained how the email was misleading because it said the sale was through 7PM! He said there was nothing he could do!
So I kindly informed the young man that I was cancelling my plans to go rack up THOUSANDS of dollars at BRU on their Baby Registry next month and that I would never spend a dime with them again and it was a shame that they would be willing to lose a customer over $20 since I am just now beginning my "baby years"! Unbelievable!

The worst customer service dept I have ever dealt with
Toys r us/baby r us in Broomfield Colorado is the worst store I have ever went to! The so called STORE MANAGER ADAM was not only rude but has no customer service skills. He did not want to even come out from the back REALLY... lazy ass manager who gets paid for doing NOTHING. On top of that had no clue what was on sale, I received and email today from toys r us with items 50% off he could not even find them oh my gosh if he didn't spend so much time in the back office he might know what was on sale. I was there 45min. waiting for him to check on a tablet that I had called and was told the tablet on sale had a camera get there to find out NO CAMERA waste of time!!!

False advertising and promotions!
Something I don't like is that when you have a return and they give you "store credit" on a plastic card. after a while, the credit expires and you have NOTHING!

No wheelchairs or scooters for customers use in stores
Some of you people are cruel. There should be scooters or wheelchairs.. what if you had to bring your own shopping cart? I dont need a scooter or wheelchair but definitly have compassion for someone needing one. Those of us that dont need them are lucky we dont have to deal with that and should be supportive of those that do need them.

By the way alot of people pushing around shopping carts don't watch where they are going so that has nothing to do with motorized or not its the individual person

Why should there be Sarabeth? if a customer requires one they should bring their own. They are provided as a courtesy, not a right. Entitlement it is not. You want to be compassionate to those in need, then buy one for them, don't put it off as the responsibility of retailers. Hell, if that's the case, they should provide me with a young hot personal shopping assistant and checkout girl, because that's what I require.

unfair pricing
This is my complain about Toys R Us – their business is unfair! I bought 4 dolls at Toys R us and the price of each was $26.99. Few days later they made an offer – buy one get one 50% off and the price f individual item was $32.99. This is unfear! I went to customer service to make a complain but they just answered that they available to adjust prices daily. This is not really good.

Cannot get a store credit or refund
WHY would you pay for insurance if you had no intention on letting it work for you? Perhaps your game is not compatible with your WII. Perhaps the game is faulty. Perhaps your own WII is faulty. If you have exchanged it twice, then maybe that is the case. It is entirely plausible your WII will work with certain games and not one other. Newer games have new codes that older systems do not have.

Overcharges on Sales Items
Let's see, you carry a copy of the scanner law in your wallet, and were told to let the cashier know at the time you were rung up but chose not to do so and now you want $259?

Overcharges on Sales Items
According to the law, the transaction must be completed, you knowingly chose not to let the cashier know that the price rang up wrong before paying, to me that seems almost like "entrapment" in the sense that you were told to let them know when they rang it up.

Attitude is Everything
Major retailers these days do not order specific items instore. Their home office does automatically by what their on hand log shows is needed. Then those items come on their truck. So no, most times they do not know what is coming until it gets there. An item that is not good seller or that the manufacturer has chosen to discontinue will not be available. Most of the time, the only ones who know this are the merchandising departments at their home office. The stores only know what they have on hand. Some things can be special ordered if you ask nicely.
Now, if you call and they have one, and then when you get there and they do not, tough luck. Some one beat you to it. No reason to bash the store for that. Next time, do not wait to the last minute to buy your gifts.

Poor service
Toys R Us has had the same policy for years. It is an international company. It is not going anywhere.

Why would you let an online experience color your whole outlook of Toys R Us. In store and online are completely separate.

Buyer beware
Do you really think that a company that sells millions of dollars or product a day cares about losing a measly $360 purchase? You certainly think highly of yourself, don't you?

Cannot get a store credit or refund
It is your Wii. Systems do require updates. With PS3 and XBOX 360, they will prompt you when you insert a disc but the Wii does not. You have to check for system updates. So before you go flying off the handle about it being everyone else's fault, you should consider making sure everything is perfect on your end. The rep was not trying to make you feel stupid, she was telling you what the most common problem is.
