horrible customer service

It is horrible that they want to charge the customer for a new product when they are the ones that have passed off a bad product in the first place. I ordered magnet signs for my business truck one year ago and now the magnet has lost function in the center so that there is a little hill in the middle of my sign, it does not lay flat anymore. I sent pictures to a sign chef manager only to be told I must have folded my magnets! Who would fold their auto magnets? I put the magnets on the day I received them and they were not moved since. (One magnet on each side of my truck, both magnets are experiencing the same defect) Oh and of course the signs carry only a one year guarantee. I was offered a ten percent discount if I ordered a new sign! This company is not going to last with scruples like that. They are the same as thieves.

I am very sorry that you were not aware that this material is easily bent! You emailed us saying that you have removed them "briefly" (but you say here that you have never removed them); were they maybe folded while removed? I have been here for years and have never seen magnetic material do this unless they are stored folded (usually during the winter or "off-season"). In these cases, they simply need to be flattened out (it is called "relaxing") and it will return to the original shape.

The manufacturer (an extremely reputable one for these types of materials) of this magnetic material (we are not the manufacturer of this material, we are the printing company) does NOT warranty this material, but we extend a workmanship guarantee to our customers for a year as a courtesy. We believe this goes above and beyond standard service for our customers. I apologize, but I cannot demand new material from a manufacturer that makes no guarantee on its life-span. We post the rating "up to 3 years" on this material (in every one of its product pages, in every quote for this material and in every order for this material) to try to extend a reasonable expectation for magnetics.

If you feel that your magnetics have "lost magnetism", please feel free to send them back to us and we will try our absolute best to have the material replaced from its manufacturer and we will even do the printing on our own dime (if the material is defective in any way whatsoever). Please call us if you have any questions.

I AM aware that magnets should never be bent. They have NEVER been bent as I stated before. They have NEVER been off my truck except when it is washed. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN FOLDED!!! You have been told that through e-mails and yet you say "I'm sorry you were not aware that this material is easily bent!"

You post the rating "up to 3 years" on this material. If that's the case, why did you offer a 10% discount ONLY? I'm not sending you the signs at my expense. I've sent the photos already. Perhaps you could forward those photos to the manufacturer and they will reimburse the materials to you and then you could redo my signs. I would be very appreciative of your efforts to rectify this situation.

horrible customer service

I have contacted the manufacturer of this material . They confirmed that they do not offer a warranty of any kind on this material and confirmed that our rating of "up to 3 years" is completely accurate. I tried filing a claim for defective material, but the roll we used to produce your magnets came from a roll of 450 ft, and we have had no other complaints from the other customers from that roll to legitimize the claim, so they denied it. Essentially, I was told that there is nothing they can do. I am very sorry that you are not satisfied, but we really did try to help.
