Request for refund ignored

I have had exactly the same experience with the Reading Site. What they advertise on their home page is not available - you get directed to Feedbooks where the only free stuff is old classics you can get for free elsewhere. I never got the email 'order information' either. I have sent 4 emails - no response. For a refund, the link went to plimus who said: "Unfortunately our records show payment was sent directly to the vendor and bypassed Plimus. As a result, we were never in receipt of the funds and are unable to issue a refund. If the vendor is failing to issue a refund, we would recommend contacting PayPal to assist you." The vendor was someone called Travis Allen, [email protected]. I emailed that address - it didn't bounce back but still no response. I will try PayPal to get my money back - thanks for the tip above, I'll file a complaint as well.
