I too feel was screwed over by this guy. I will take this guy to court for theft of services so fast he will not know what hit him.

same thing happened to us. How do your "all" your plows break down conveniently at the first snow fall. You have had months to prepare for this! we have already called channel 2 waiting for a return call from them to get this on the news.

I also paid Terry Jarvis IN FULL and have not had my driveway plowed by him. I had it shoveled for $30. on Sat. He now owes me $30. back PLUS I expect him to appear when it snows! or else let's all report him to the BBB, Police, and Small Claims Court.

There are 4 of us on my street who are out of the money we paid and no plowing services. We are going to file criminal charges. I spoke to 2 of his neighbors and it appears, he does not live at 1470 Kensington Ave. Get your cancelled checks and contracts together and hopefully we can catch up with this crook.

I too have been taken by this guy... I also have disabled people living her who needed to get out so i had to have to pay someone else to shovel costing me $25... This guy needs to give us our money back and more and also need to go to jail ...

Terry Jarvis is a girl. Her real name is Tess Hennessy and she lives on Cleveland Drive in Cheecktowaga. She is married to Pam Hennessey and is related to Paul Jarvis, Paul Jarvis Jr, Brandy Nicole Jarvis and Jack Hennessey. SHE IS A FRAUD AND HAS ALL OUR MONEY

The same story for me. i paid IN FULL in advance. An older man came to my house to perform an "estimate" so if this person is a woman there is a man working with her.

I contacted Small Claims and explained our situation. The rep suggested contacting the AG's ofc which has the capability of pursuing the matter criminally. Called the AG's ofc and was told to file a claim. If enough of us file, they can open an investigation. The AG's website is: www.ag.ny.gov.Scroll down for consumer fraud/Bflo regional ofc. If you look on the back of your cancelled check, a 2nd person signed the check. Possibly Robert Hennessy, the male working with her. While we are furious, does anyone know of a legitimate snowplowing co? Ms. Jarvis is not licensed in Buffalo to plow.

Ok I am Doris Jones and I just spoke to the Consumer Fraud Dept. of the Attorney General's office. Our complaints need to be in writing. She is mailing me the form. This should be filled out and returned with our canceled checks. Call 853-8404 to have her mail you a form. I also called Rich Newburg at CH 4...he said Al Baughters is our guy at Call For Action. I left a message and am waiting for him to call me back. Let's get this Tess/Terry!

You can also go on line and print the form, then send a COPY of your cancelled checks and contract. My form is completed and in the mail.

If you have not already done so, I encourage anyone who has been defrauded by this individual/company to submit your complaint to WIVB Channel 4 News. I spoke with a representative from their Call 4 Action Department, as I had emailed them on 1/15, and was advised that they received several complaints and this story may appear on the news by the end of this week. I have printed a form to submit to the Attorney General's office and am meeting with my local police department this evening to see what else can be done.

I just went on the tax records 1470 Kensington is deeded to Robert F. Hennessdy as of 10/21/2010 and assessed @ $118.900 Robert Hennessey signed my second check under Terry Jarvis name. I would think he is INVOLVED in this fraud also.

Was able to leave a message on Terry/Tess's phone today requesting my money back. A neighbor also left a message. Was unable to get through to Channel 4 but did leave a message requesting assistance. Learned today that one of the reasons it is so hard to get some co's to plow in Buffalo is because of a permit fee. I still need someone to plow.

I went to the Town of Tonawanda police dept and filed a complaint this afternoon. Everyone involved in this should do the same however its also important that you file with the attorney general and channel 4 as well. The officer we spoke with advised that as of now, this is just police information and may or may not get assigned to a detective, so maybe if more come forward in each town you are located in, something will come of this. But, you should definately file with the attorney general and channel 4 as they appear to possibly thinking of investigating further

I found "Terry Jarvis" (Tess Hennessy ) through CraigList and had paid her in full for the whole year of snow plowing in Oct. 2011.
Like most of you, no work has been done to our driveway & side walk. And no one seem to be able to get a hold of her. It was very upsetting not being able to get in/out of our garage last Friday after paying someone for the service.
I also posted few ads on CL to warn others so they do not have to go through what we have been dealing with, I will also try to post another ad to let more people know about this site.
Hopefully woking together we can hold her/them responsible and not letting them get away with this horrible scam.

Robert Francis Hennessy resides at 48 Cleveland Dr. Cheektowaga.
He is also part owner of 205 Cleveland Dr. along with Patrica M Hinchey, according to the Erie County Clerks Office.

I will also take part in any action to recover money, I paid in full for plow service and shoveling..$375 for the season.
