Online gift card purchase - not worth the trouble!
I have been havong MAJOR ISSUES WITH Inserra Shoprite as well. I` disabled and have been using their online shopping service. The issues I`ve had are too long to list in a simple reply to your comment but needless to say if I don`t get satisfactory resolution (and I doubt I will) I will posting my own complaint on this board. I`ve been dealing with Maryann Donahue as well and the general attitude of Inserra in general toward their customers is VERY BAD. So I`ve been there with Inserra and very likely they will be losing my $500 a month buisness as well.

smokers
I am a vendor representative who brings in product into stores through the back receiving door of Shoprite stores. My complaint is about people (primarily store staff) who smoke out on the docks while people such as myself are walking through and forced to inhale their smoke. I understand that they may be on their brake but they shouldn't be permitted to smoke near the place where people are working and where there are non-smokers such as myself. I hope the company begins to enforce a policy against this.

Problems at register
We rarely have a good experience at the Montgomery, NY ShopRite -- we only go there because it's the only show in town. There are never enough registers open and either the cashiers are poorly trained or the equipment they use is not reliable. God forbid you use a personal check -- even with a check cashing card, they can't get processed.
I was behind a customer who was trying to redeem on-line ShopRite coupons -- what a joke this was!
Hannaford's can't get here quick enough. ShopRite -- check out their registers to learn how to do things efficiently.

I AM A DISABLED VET. I SPEND $100-$150 A WEEK IN YOUR WEST MILFORD STORE. I BOUGHT A CAN OPENER FROM YOU ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO IT COST $7. I WENT TO RETURN IT AND YOUR NASTY MR OPICI TELLS ME I NEVER BOUGHT IT THEIR. TOLD HIM THEY HAVE DIFFRENT KINDS IN DIFFRENT AISLES LOOK UP MY HISTORY. HE GOT VERY NASTY SO I THREW THE CAN OPENER DOWN AND WALKED OUT. THE LITTLE SOB FOLLOWS ME OUT TO THE PARKING LOT AND I TOLD HIM TO GET LOST OR I WAS GONNA BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM. YOU WILL NOT GET ANOTHER PENNY OUT OF ME. I WANT MY $7 BACK. 7 YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT FROM YOU AND ALLWAYS WAS RESPECTED

Not honoring deals
I earned free matzo at your Lakewood store on April 18, 2014 but the store was out of stock, there was no raincheck or substitutes offered. I was told that it was while supplies lasted, this is a poor policy and hope you can correct this situation.
