Defective Air Pump

On Dec 13th went to the gas station to put air in my tires, paid the fee of $1,00 and the machine was not working. Went to the agent in the booth and he was aware that the machine was not working and said that this was not his responsibility.
YES it is especially he knew the machine was defective a sign would of been more than appreciated.
I was robbed $1,00 and would like a refund from Shell Canada
