Yeah, I got the same email. How do we protect ourselves against these thieves? Surely with such a scam someone is doing something to protect us? Or is this another case of lining the upper official pocket's with gold and turning a blind eye?

That is exactly what I got... They wouldnt feel the same if it was there money... They are worthless no good assholes and need to get a real job... You talk to them they say they will put in a request done it three times now and they might as well of just told me all times that my request was denied... Worthless no good scumbags who obviously dont know what its like to live paycheck to paycheck relyin on the cash they steal from you...

I am also a current score sense employee, and as such, I fully understand both sides. I do agree that everyone needs to read the Terms and Conditions whenever they decide to put their credit/debit card information on any site. As for the Scoresense.com Terms and Conditions, the fact that the service you are signing up for is listed at number 8, in BOLD CAPITALIZED LETTERS. So it IS your fault when you get charged. Next time you decide to call in and make a fool out of yourselves by yelling and claiming you never signed up for anything, think of this: IT ISN'T OUR FAULT YOU PUT YOUR CARD INFORMATION ONLINE AND DON'T READ!!! We are only doing our jobs, and we REALLY don't have any power over the refund processes. How would it be a smart business move for One Technologies to just issue a refund for everyone who claimed they didn't know anything about services? Nothing personal, but most of you people are liars. We DO get customers that call in within the 7 day trials who fully understand they will get charged because they DID read the Terms and Conditions. It also states in the Terms and Conditions that it does count down by the hour. So when you call in, be nice... Because we CAN put extensive notes on your account which MAY help you get your money back. Don't threaten us... It doesn't help your cause.
As for the people who think this is a scam, I understand how you feel also. I don't agree with the way score sense gets their customers. It is very sneaky and deceitful. I believe it should be made WAY more obvious on the site that it is a trial and of the price of the monthly membership. I understand you're angry about your money being taken out of your accounts unexpectedly, but that alone doesn't call for rudeness to other people... Personally, I have identity theft through a different company because I see what customers have to deal with in regards to refunds. They made it VERY clear on their site about the trial and the price. They even let me pick the package before I entered any of my information. There are system errors on OCCASION where it'll charge before the end of the trial period or when you're canceled. It's a computer, and computer systems aren't flawless. So before you just believe what you see other people writing on here, remember that people lie when they are mad and don't get their way right off the bat. If you don't get your refund the first time, call back and request it again. I have yet to see an account that hasn't gotten their refund the second time around. Remember, we deal with angry people all day long. It is nice to have someone who isn't screaming you the entire length of the call.

I'm on a fixed Disability for Chronic Kidney Failuer, 3rd stage heart disease, 1st stage Parkinson's disease, chronse bowel disease, and bone degeneration disease. I was beat out of two Pensions where I paid 27 years at 7 1/2% of my income and the companies supposed to of matched 3 1/2%. I never got a dime and these were big union companies, UAW, and IAM. So I live off of $1201 a month SSID.
Then comes along internet scumscam companies like Identity Hawk. I gave them the $1.00 dollar for ID verification and a free 7 day membership. After being blindly lead forcealbly aound their site trying to get my info, which I never recieved, I cancelled. I cancelled within one hour of initally giving them my VISA INFO. I even have a verification cancellation number. Next I found out part of this scumscam is adding other PARTNERS that was hidden in the Agreement. I found one, PRIVACY MATTERS 123, and cancelled their membership and got their Verification of cancellation number. Thought I was done with this SCUMSCAM Company. Found out they had another hidden partner named Score Sense.com. This company got me for November and December for $29.95 each month. I called their 800 679-6327 that appeared on my Visa Account. They were smart asses on the phone, and I got NO Guarantee they would reimburse me or even stop their billing. To sum it up I used my VISA CREDIT CARD for Verification that I was who I said I was. It didn't supposed to pay for any membership, it was a 7 day free trial. I cancelled within a hour of initial contact with this company. I have two membership cancellation numbers from the same date. But didn't know there was a other hidden company. This in any Legal Defination,, is Fraud by Deception. I'd like my Complaint added to any class action Lawsuit. one of my kids is going to be very upset christmas morning because he didnt recieve a gift this year because daddy asked the advise from a scam company how do you people sleep at night well i just received a phone call from a lawyer who seen my problem and is going to investigate this web service for me at no cost so i can get my unemployment money back i'm also writting a letter to all three major web site service engines and request this site be removed because it's a scam and your robbing people of their money ya know where i come from someone does something like this two people go into the forrest only one comes out

Hello everyone. I'm writing to complain about the service provided by Scoresense. The company is cheating people, while the customer service is very rude to client. I can't imagine that this kind of terrible business exist in the United States. The United States should not allow this biz to exist at all. Recently, i made a complaint to the customer service of charging me $29.95 every month, without my awareness & consent, and at the same time, i also requested the refund. They rejected and even shouted at me. How can a customer service shout at client??? It's ridiculous! You should practice your customer service skill before taking that job. It's really shameful to your company, you know?
I WANT TO APPEAL TO ALL PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES, DON'T GET CHEATED BY SCORESENSE ANYMORE. DON'T BECOME THEIR CLIENT. THEY'RE CHEATING PEOPLE.

I was also scammed into this membership by an e-mail saying for a $1 refundable fee I could get my credit score from the three credit bureaus and now I have in pending in my bank account $29.95 twice, under two different names: WC *SAVINGS and OTL*SCORE-SENSE.COM

this company is bull shit. i had money taken out of my account and never filled out any thing for score sense .com yet i got charged 29.95 . called the company at 800 972 7204 . some how she had all my information on file and in hand.. i never filled out anything for this or anything close to it. nothing than will do . i think the only way to stop this b.s is to do the extreme and start contacting the local news . and getting this information out to people so no one else gets screwed over. need to get this website shut down for GOOD!!!

While going on my online banker, a screen popped up saying there were fraudulent charges on several credit cards, one of which was mine. Believing this was from my bank, I entered the information requested. Who checks what website you're on. You get it from your bank, you believe it's your bank. They took $30.95 out of my account. I notified my bank as I believe this is a scam and they should be aware of it. I don't want to cancel my cards, as I have reoccurring charges monthly.
Plus I have cataracts and do not see that well!

To the employees of scoresense: I never put any credit card info online, and scoresense still was able to charge my account. Spoke to the bank and they said to cancel the card, which I did, and I urge everyone else who was scammed to do the same. That way you cannot be charged again. I caught the first charge today, and immediately canceled my card. Good luck to all of you.

I just got taken also, but am going thru my Credit Union and have them deal with an outfit like this. We'll see who wins then and believe me, I will never trust any of these credit score links again. They have this come on anyway, on the first page you sign up and the next page they want your credit card numbers. I think that this sucks.

Not only is this company a fraud but their customer service SUCKS as well! After I found these extra charges on my account which clearly I didnt see the fine print they claim was on my screen they told me I will not be getting my refund. This was even after the fact the rep said I didnt use any of the "great perks" the members have access too! Ummm excuse all I needed was to compare their scores to what I already knew my score was previously. So I didnt need any more perks. FYI if a customer is not happy with the service it should not matter how long it takes for them to discover charges not approved, their choice should be honored because end the end its THEIR MONEY and THEIR CHOICE ON HOW TO SPEND IT. It shouldnt matter if they called 2 days after the free trial besides who really can remember how long a site claims a free trial to be if your only on their for a minute anyways.
BTW, the customer service are Sales Reps and will try their bes to sale you a dream and to stay with the company almost as worse as the pesty guy on the street trying to hound you to buy his newspaper and wont leave you alone!! OMG shut this company down ASAP!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM PPL... MAKE A BETTER CHOICE THAN I DID! If they werent such A-holes I might of not disputed the charges with my bank after it was all said and done. They have NO compassion!! I mean come on its human error we all have been mislead at times..SMDH **** SCORESENSE MAKES NO DAMN SENSE AND SHOULD BE CALLED MISLEADSENSE.COM

I am so pissed at Scoresense. I signed up for the free trial, $1.00 was taken off my card then $29.95 was taken off. I called customer service, the young lady was very nice, she said she would submit my cancellation and request for a refund. 3 days later I recieved the same email as debby090. I called customer service again, this time I got a smart mouthed guy, he said " well the company doesnt sit around looking to take money from (he said my name). Then he said he will submit another request. I already know what the next email will say. SAME THING. If anyone has a solution or even if there is a class action suit, please contact [email protected]
