Unwilling SBS Bus Driver to Pickup Immobile Passenger

I have sent my complaint to the email address - [email protected] - on 14 August 2018 under the same review title but still did not receive any reply from them.

It is very disappointing to note that feedback to this address may be based on selective view or is this just another prop to inform public that SBS Transit is a caring bus company?

Rude racist bus driver: 179

I am reguar passenger from NTU. I am a student and i constantly observe racism fro bus driver.

At 7.10 pm, 6th of sep i was waiting for the bus. There was a cmpus rider so the bus stopped far away. Before icould walk to the bus, the driver saw me in the eyes nd closed the doors. I was near the door and wavng so harf but he left. It was the bus before sbs 3659sg

The driver could be white asian. I ws the only student left and he left me. The next bus saw and didnt care i hav to wave so hard nd chase the bus to stop

Really heartbroken conduct. This is not the first time. We r students and racism is really hard.

Undesired attitude of bus captain

Bus 190 plate no SG5760U

On 10 September 2018 in peak hour morning at 9am, this bus captain with baseless grounds anyhow pin point and accuse anyone not of tapping the transitlink card in a very rudely and aggressive manner. Despite with no guilt and clear conscience saying tapped already, the bus captain 'gave the order' to the tapping of the transitlink card again. Did so and the screen showed up "Entry OK" in red. Bus captain didn't see the screen and insisted saying didn't tap. After a few baseless accusations and he realised he could be wrong, he then jumped to accuse the next commuter. I am in business suit and a working white collar executive in CBD. Just happened that I took the bus that day. Very rude. Very bad attitude and approach. Understand there may be shortage of labour in the bus driving line, but this shouldn't be the way. Government pushing for world class public transport. The management should look into this. If the bus captains are behaving like this, then commuters shouldn't be blamed for behaving poorly in return. Public transport is a service. Bus drivers don't just drive bus simply. This is a different time from ages ago. Bus captains, given the nicer name should behave more professionally trained personnel. There may be people who evade bus fares which are chargeable offences and reduce revenue to company, but also there should no be any abuse/ bad treatment. There is better way of managing problems and issues.

unreasonable bus driver

took 180 from hillion interchange 13:03 on 17/09/18
before that when i reach the interchange, there were seats inside so i went to sit down and the queue for bus is right next to it. im pretty sure i sat there as long as the people queuing but when i went to board bus, bus uncle crazy shouting at me to not board the bus first cuz i was not in the queue. i hope he can fix his attitude as i also waited the same time as the people queueing and my purpose of sitting at the side is not because i want to cut queue. i just resting ok? can talk nicely dont need shout uncle. siao

Bus 200 at 8:13 this morning did not stop

Bus #200 today again drove by the bus stop super fast and did not stop at 8.13 am. Bus stop is #18149. This has happened several and always wirh the same bus driver. I hope someone looks into this matter. In the USA we had customer complaint hotlines, but you don’t seem to have that here in Singapore.

Bus 162

It takes too long for a single 162 bus to arrive while three 52 arrived but not a single bus 162 arrive yet. Too many children waiting at the bus stop waiting for 162 bus it is dangerous if they had to squeeze into a single bus. Can SBS kindly arrange more 162 bus to transport these children!

Dear Mr. Gan Juay Kiat ( CEO SBS Transit )
I am writing in to express my sincere gratitude to SBS transit staff (sorry but I could not recall some of their names).

On 27 Sept 18 at about 7.45am, my daughter , Wong Wen Yi (aged 19 with speech disabilities and requires special assistance ) boarded the wrong bus (bus no 70) at bus stop at Blk 161 Hougang St 11 (BS no: 62059) . She was supposed to go to Chai Chee Lane for her daily workshop internship with my helper's assistance. However, as my helper was not paying attention and hence,was unsure which bus Wen Yi had boarded. I then seek help from the call centre at about 8.05am and one lady (cant recall her name) assured me that their bus captains will keep a look out for Wen Yi and at the same time, advised me to make a police report.

Whilst making a police report, I received a call from Mr. Vincent who informed me that my daughter has been found at Shenton Way bus depot. He requested me to liaise with his colleague, Mr. William (Passenger Service office) to fetch her back. Upon reaching Shenton Way bus depot , Mr. William informed me that a lady bus captain of bus 107 had spotted my daughter sitting at the bus stop outside the depot and brought her to the passenger office. Before leaving the bus depot, Mr. William had even show concern by checking on us to ensure that everything is fine. Such gesture is remarkable.

Once again, I wish to thank everyone especially the lady bus captain who brought my daughter to the passenger service office.

On behalf of my family, a big kowtow to all.

Ignorance driver bus service 67

Bus service 67 travelling towards town at 1230hrs in front of city plaza bus stop.

Am very disappointed re the followings:-
1. Bus driver service 67, vehicle 1167L or 1161L, drive off after stopping two bus distance behind (6-7m) from the bus stop. Immediately, he switched towards the main road and drove off despite a few passengers shouted at him, his pair of eyes just turn right all the while.
Driver is a chinese with a black frame spectacle, age around 30-36. He refuses to stop or look at us.

2. When I try to make a complaint immediately via from my phone, it prompted me to the site and i tick on the complaint about bus service, the next page is all about train service! I could not fill in the gap after several attempts.

I do not know is accidental or intentional???
What pisses commuter are the inefficient of both physical and online services that a public service operator renders to the public. Both have problems and unreliable when any incident happens, they turn deaf ear to the public.

Please tune up or clean up the arrogant bus captain attitude, commuters also human too.
If they do not like their job, just leave, someone will loves to take over.

Bus 88 never on time

I don’t know whether the bus is not enough or they just don’t have the time concept, imagine there are all people working in the morning, and need to wait up to 15mins to get the bus, this is so inconvenience and unfair to all the people. If got any other choices, will never want to take bus 88 during peak hour.
