Equinox & RVTL
This ad popped up in my Sky/Google email, to be honest when I read through it I thought this is too good to be true, surely a product that was so good would have had much more coverage by the media, thankfully my common sense & tenaciousness lead me on to search more about this company, sooooo glad I did. I feel really sorry for anyone caught up in this scam, but if it seems too good to be true, then it IS too good to be true .
This company should be stopped its clearly illegal & preys upon the vulnerable.

I ordered a free trial after seeing an advert pop up on the internet. I gave my bank details for £2.99 postage and packing. The cream arrived with no letter about being charged any money if I did not return it. On Friday a second jar arrived. I checked my bank statement and was horrified to find I had been charged a total of £180 taken out over 3 days. I rang my bank to try to stop them taking out any more money. They gave me a phone number to ring 02030149254. I spoke to customer services, a woman with an American accent. She gave me a RMA number and said if I sent the second pot back she would refund £89 when they received it. She refused to send £89 for the opened pot which has not had any miraculous results on my skin.
Before I had chance to post the cream back another jar arrived in the post. It is going to cost me a lot of postage to send both pots back. I don't trust them to refund my money. I only earn £100 a week so this has been a costly mistake.

RVTL anti-aging and serum
I decided to order RVTL cream FREE and pay £2.99 on postage. This was from an internet advert on a respectable website. I read all the page carefully and I made the purchase. Then it all started to go wrong as first it never checked with Visa - I found later- secondly I could not get away from the page. Trying to print was not a solution and getting out bought me an unwanted serum for £4.99.
£7.98 were debited straight away from my account. I was able to establish this straight away as I do internet banking. I have talked with my bank and cancelled any payment coming from this place so there is no more scamming taking place for me.
So thanks to everyone who posted their scam because with their experience I could make my moves fast. I have received a pot of RVTL anti-agng cream already but not the serum.
I hope that this kind of scammers can be stopped from robbing more and more people.

I ordered the free trial jars of this item only. However whilst I was away on holiday another jar arrived and over £95 taken from my bank account without my authorisation!!!!! I had not ordered it - neither did I want it!! How do you get your money back from this fraudulent Company and make sure that they do not send any more with more money being taken from your bank !!! I saw no reference to a 15 day time period when you could stop any further items.

like you I fell for this. After recieving free trial & charged £2.99 in February 2014, I received another delivery with despatch note & no cost on it. I tried to contact the shipping company but no response as yet.Then today I found out there was a problem when my visa bill arrived this am. I tried to contact shipping company again, no joy so contacted my bank who were very helpful they have been inundated with this same problem. Evidently the advert does not make it clear re free trial & contact for monthly product/charge. The bank has put a stop on this company taking any more from my account & advised me to ring the number on my visa next to transaction which I did, the told me to say I was not aware of terms/conditions when applying for free trial. I spoke to a lady who has cancelled my account with RTVL she gave me a cancellation number, told me I can keep the second pot of cream & also gave partial refund of £50. I would have liked the full refund of £184.95 but to save any more stress have accepted. Lets hope they keep there word. If anyone would like the telephone number it is based in London: 027030149255.

Someone needs to do something about this company. I ordered the free samples and then got charged for 90.00 before thr trial was up. Then I called and canceled and sent the cream back like they said, but they refuse to give my money back saying it had been more than 30 days. Maybe complain to Ellen Degeneres since they used her name. thanks for allowing this complaint.

After reading some of these complaints,I don't feel so alone and completely stupid by getting involved with this scam.I too sent off for the free trial of RVTL cream& Equinox serum for postage of £2.99. It wasn't until my bank wrote to me informing me that there could of been fraudulent activity on my account,one payment of £89, plus another payment of £95, taken from this company. I have now cancelled all activity with these companies and have received confirmation emails but will be keeping a watchful eye on my statement and will inform my bank,and even change my details if necessary.These people need to be STOPPED, it's a CRIME! Will be taking further action,and reporting on this wherever I can. I want my money back,this is DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Let's do something people and make it public!

This "company" is nothing but a bunch of like minded thieving low life snakes ( Unreserved apologies to real snakes in the world).
The audacity of these "people" is mind blowing. I made a mistake & brought a jar of anti wrinkle cream ( translation.. expensive s***e), maybe just curious. They sent the cream, and then helped themselves to a total of £187, from my account. The snakes sent no further products.
I went through so much trouble. Had to call these THIEVES ( cos thats what they are) loads of times. Then I had to cancel my card. "Staff?" Thats too kind - they're soul less agents of theft with no moral compass. If their "chief exec" ( a la Jabba the Hutt) happens to read any of these reviews.. ? how do you sleep at night? ( you probably don't, cos your too busy living the high life on other peoples money). Either that, or shedding your skin. Cretin.

Ive been conned by this company to paid £ 2.99 free trial cream on jan 29th 2014 . Now found out ive paid £89 on 12th feb 2014
28th feb £95.95.2014. I Have address for them MILL ROAD INDUSTRAIL ESTATE. LINLITHGOW ,EH 49 7SF UK .TEL. 0442030140761 or 01506847040 . I will contact credit card company on Monday to see what can be done. I have a feeling i have been charged for cream i have not recieved. Hope this helps.

Same as the others. I also thought the RVTL cream and Equinox serum were free trial samples with just postage to pay. I then found that two payments of £89 and £95 had been deducted from my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they are disputing the payments. They gave me the telephone number of the company and when I phoned they assured me they would cancel any further deliveries. Thankfully, I received emails from them confirming cancellation.
I returned the products via recorded delivery and have so far received £75 back from Equinox (at least better than nothing) but so far nothing, not even confirmation of receipt of my repeated emails from RVTL. I've sent another email to them, with details of the name of the person who signed for my returned product and then adding various complaints from people who have reported the company as a scam. Hopefully, that will help get something back from them. I try to keep optimistic!
Can't believe I got stung - I always thought I was too sensible!

My mother signed up for the free trial and agreed to pay shipping but before she even received it they have charged her account $93! She tried calling the numbers provided but they both told her that they did not have an account for her on their website!

Seem to have been caught out by this scam as well. £2.99 taken out for postage of free sample then within 14 days £89 charged to my bank account without my knowledge. As so many people have complained its unlikely that I will get anything back - HOWEVER have just found out that you could well claim the money back from your bank through the "chargeback system" as the money was taken fraudulently. Once the bank get so many complaints then surely they will refuse in future to pay out to this company and hence shut the operation down! We can but hope.

The Product is poor given its price. It is uncomfortable to use.
I too received a trial pack without information about cancelling this product.
In February I was charged £2.99 and £4.95 for package and posting.
In March I was charged £89 and £95 for these so called free samples.
In April I was charged a further £95.95 for a very small tub of cream which I returned hoping to get my money back.
I was given a refund of £80.
What I thought would be a bit of fun has cost me £207.89 which I can't afford.
In my opinion this is theft.

Deceptive Advertisement
I was mislead by false advertisement also. When I put in my information for the trial offer with a $4.95 shipping charge, I read
that if you were pleased with the product, they would then charge your account $93.00. I quickly then tried to take out my information and decline the trial offer. However, when I tried to leave the page and tried not to accept the offer, the screen quickly switched to another screen. I tried back tracking to get to the previous website, but couldn't. I then thought that because I did not click on the acceptance button, I would not receive the product. Low and behold, a package came in the mail with no packing or receipt information. So I had to wait for my statement to see if they had charged my account, which they did. I was in the process of returning the product when another package came, not even 30 days later. They had charged my account again. I got their phone number from my statement and called them. I disputed the unfair practices and told them that I never accepted their terms and agreements. That the website would not allow me to not accept. He debated with me and then said that he would give me the product for $50.00. I declined and said that I would return the second package. He then said that they would have to charge me a restocking fee of $20.00. I said no. And then I sent the product back with tracking by the post office. I also spoke with my bank about their unfair practices and my bank is looking into reversing the charges. I also cancelled my debit card so that no other charges could be made against my account. I've ordered other products on line and have never had any problems with discontinuing an account and returning the product. This company is a high-tech scam, sucking in those who are willing to take its deceiving advertisement bate. Stay CLEAR!!!

I could have written any one of the previous complaints. On March 11, 2014, purchased the $4.95 "trial" offer, I thought. I'm pretty savvy normally and perused their website for hidden agendas. Imagine my surprise when on April 14th I received a plain white box with no identifying information in or outside the container only to find out it was yet another jar of the RVTL cream, that I DID NOT ORDER! I immediately checked my credit card statement online and there was a charge for $99.95 for this jar and back on March 25th another charge from them for $93! Apparently, the $93 was for the first jar that I thought I was paying $4.95 (and did) for. This is clearly scam artists at work with this website. Everything being neatly tucked away in the sign-up process. I wish I had been proactive enough to check reviews BEFORE I even entered their site.

I like everyone else sent off for the anti ageing cream,I only got suspicious because the jar it arrived in is brown and looks nothing like the one advertised. I then came on this website and panicked,
I have rung my bank and explained what you are all saying, and I've been told to go to cash machine, get out what I need and then cancel my card, then hopefully they won't be able to get any money out.
Does anyone know the name that shows up on statements after they've managed to get money from a UK BANK ACCOUNT
That will teach me a lesson

EQUINOX/RVTL SKIN PRODUCTS ARE A BIG TIME SCAM. THEY FALSELY ADVERTISE 30 DAY FREE TRIAL, BUT CHARGE YOU THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE PRODUCTS AFTER 14 DAYS. I THOUGHT I WAS AGREEING TO PAY ONLY THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES ON A TRIAL BASIS. INSTEAD, I GOT CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT AS WELL AS THE S&H CHARGES SO IT ALL CAME TO OVER $200.00. DURING THE TRIAL PERIOD, I GOT SICK AND WAS HOSPITALIZED SO I NEVER EVEN GOT TO TRY THE PRODUCTS BEFORE THEY SENT ME ANOTHER UNSOLICITED SHIPMENT OF BOTH PRODUCTS AT FULL PRICE AGAIN. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS OUTRAGED AND ANGERED AND LIKE OTHERS HAVE MENTIONED THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION FOR CANCELLATION OR RETURN OF MERCHANDISE. I HAD TO GO THROUGH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY IN ORDER TO ASCERTAIN THAT INFO AND STARTED THE CANCELLATION AND RETURN OF MERCHANDISE PROCESS THAT WAS STARTED AS OF TODAY, 4-19-14.

I too have just found out that I have been a victim of this scam. I found out that £89.00 had been taken from my account when I received a letter from the bank advising that I had gone overdrawn. On further investigation I found that I had been charged the £89 fifteen days after being charged for the two samples of Equinox and RVTL. I immediately called my bank and emailed the company to cancel this "membership". I did however run a check on companies house in the uk to determine the information on this company Pelican Labs Ltd I obtained the following information...... registered address 5 Fowey Avenue Ilford Essex UK Director and Secretary Khan, Kalimullah Mr.... Appointed 28th May 2013 .....date of birth 23/11/1987.... Nationality Pakistani... address 1366 Indian Grove, Mississauga, Ontario, L5H 2S6. Canada. I will be contacting trading standards in the UK tomorrow and also the media to see what can be done to expose this disgusting scam

You promised to cancel my order for RVTL INCLUDING EQUINOX, and also told me you sent a receipt of cancellation on my email.
I have not received this cancellation order. You should not take out anymore funds from my Bank.
You cannot force me to use this product that do not work. I only ordered for a free trial but you continue to withdraw money from my account. What type of company are you.

I have received the same product as the other complaints have stated. I thought I was getting the free samples and here today I got another jar I did not want. I am going to try to call the # i got from other complaint victims and see if I can get refund. Again no receipt or any other information to confirm the transaction. I feel so stupid for falling for such deception.
