I have the similar experience. Their items are more expensive compared to other shops. We managed to get the same price as the other shops. However, problem comes in when we noticed that they delivered THE WRONG TABLE! It was different from the one we ordered. Luckily we took a photo of the table beforehand and showed it to the deliveryman. Even the deliveryman agreed that the table is different. We told Rozel up and they told us that its the same model just that it is an A and B version difference. The one they sent us were the new design.

I wanted to look for the guy that serve us, but the person who answered our call said that the guy is busy serving other customers will call us back. Ok... we waited till next day, call back, "Oppps, sorry, he's not at work today." Ok.. next day, he said that he will call us back... Nope, nada zlich. Nothing from them.

Rozel Lousy sofa quality & very bad attitudes!!!

I'd like to lodge an complaint against Rozel furnishing Pte Ltd which has supplied with the lousy quality sofa to me despite that I've requested to make a replacement NOT 1 time but 3 times and till now still NOT YET SETTLED!!

In 2011, I've purchased a sofa set from that shop with 'a half leather sofa'??? with 1 week time the leather has torn with the cushion surfacing plus white spots on the leather, when I called to them and they'll do the repair and I've refused to accept that since the sofa is newly bought!! They then have changed with a new set and promised to give me refund if I've problem with it. In another 2 weeks time the history repeated with the leather torn again. I was very distressed and complaint to them that this is not acceptable!! it took about seven months to settle it.

They then changed with another 3rd set of sofa to me and this round they've promised that if within 3 years times encounter with another quality nor problems with the sofa then they'd replace with brand new set or even repair without further cost!!
To my horror!! within a year, the springboard underneath the leather seat dropped off to my living floor and damaged!!!
I called to complaint this round and the staff Alvin said that I need to pay the transportation cost to get repair which is contrary to what they have promised!!! I've refused to pay a single cent to them anymore with all the inferior and lousy products they supplied to me and given me so much stresses and troubles and times to follow up with the lousy services!!!!

He even threatened that if I'm not happy with them, I can publish in newspaper or go to broadcast their lousy services since Alvin claimed that he is the big boss there and don't need to lodge anymore complaint to anyone!!! However, he just tried to simply get away with any responsibility by brushing me off without taking any compensation nor repair services and I've to accept totally loss of S$1,360 by myself for this poor quality sofa set!!!!!

Alvin has demonstrated an outward denial of the company responsibility and wanting to brush off the customer just by threatening which is displaying a shame to the company and ruin the company reputation!!!!

As a consumer I believe we deserve a better services and money back if the quality of products are really that lousy and utterly unacceptable conditions!!!

Threatening and hooligan service

I concur and endorse on the poor and hooligan service provided by the salesmen.
They are also Eric and Brian as mentioned in the earlier review.

We were browsing for dining table and bed. The salesman, Eric is very enthusiastic in serving us. When we told him we were just browsing, he counter offer again and again on the price. We agreed on the offer and wanted to choose the dining chairs and he suggested to select at a later date, claiming there will be more designs coming in around June. He then proceed to sell us bed and mattress and we agreed. My wife was totally exhausted by the hard sale.
I then proceed to make payment and was surprised that he told me to make full payment as the items are all selling at promotional price.
I felt uneasy after the whole event and googled for reviews on Rozel. We were saddened by the numerous negative reviews. Nevertheless, we decided to give them the benefit of doubt.
We went to Rozel this evening to confirm the table top design and selection of chairs. We were told that they are unable to craft the design which was agreed on earlier. We were very disappointed to hear that and requested for Eric to check again. Then came a guy and he make some phone calls in front of us and finally said can be done but with some modification in the table top design.
Next we select the chair. To our horror, only a row of chairs can be selected which was not what Eric told us. He had told us 2 third of the chairs in the showroom can be selected. On top of that, he totally forgot that he had told us about the new designs which will arrive in June!
After we asked if we can select the white chairs a few times (as he keeps recommending us black chairs which does not match the table), he told us we have to top up $100.00. At this point, we really are not feeling good about the whole thing and told him that we will not top up any money. He then called a guy, Brian (which much tattoo on his hands) to come talked to us. He started nice talking and when he knew that we are not going to top up, he started talking very rough. Saying things like 'black and white', 'word against word', we tried to explain, he will not listen and claimed that we are making false accusation. Brian is talking like a gangster now, super threatening! We decided that there is no point to talk further and select the design of the chair which DO NOT match the table at all.
We really do not understand how the boss of Rozel allowed their staff to do business in a gangster manner. It is so horrifying!! They also don't seem to care about 'happy customers'.
How can Rozel survive for so long with gangster sales attitude and no integrity??? What about the company philosophy, vision and values as stated in the website???
How can all victims of Rozel make our pleas heard by the authority?

Everything is perfect before you place your order but after which, when finalising on final details and delivery at a later date, whatever discussed earlier might not be honoured.

A very good case of misrepresentation (subjective to be innocent, negligence or fraudulence) and threats.

Keeping my finger cross that they honour their delivery in good quality as promised.

DO NOT EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

rozel furniture customer service sucks

I have the same bad experience at outlet near toh guan.There was a guy probably sale person came to talk to us. He is so uunprofessional, and rude. Instead of listening to what the customer's needs, he tried to show us what we are not interested in. The worst thing was even though we expressed that the item he was showing to us was not what we were looking for, he insists us to buy that. After we gave up with him and leave the store, he tried to show off gestures like gansters which is too unprofessional. It is a complete disappointment ROZEL furniture. Thank god we haven't bought anything from there.

Rozelle Furniture - don't buy!

Hi

Very similar experience last week. We had ordered a number of stuff from them (bill in excess of S$2k). And they delivered both the wrong cabinets. Then when I called them multiple times they did the same thing - guys not here, didn't come etc.

Then after 3 weeks they called me and wanted to compromise. I said ok please send your designs and I can consider. They asked me to take one of the cabinets as it is and the other one I had ordered a 3D design cabinet and he said that's not available and instead asked me to take a simple one at the same price. When I told him that I won't take it at the same price as this was very different from what I had ordered.l, he threatened me and said I will enforce this on you!! Can you imagine? And he is shouting at me like anything!

These guys think customers are fools. I have declined both the cabinets now

Rozel Aftersales Service really horrible

I bought my Sofa from Rozel Taman Tun Malaysia few years ago and I am totally give up on their after sales service and attitude recently. Wrote to them3 time, call their stuff Mr. Mok and talk to him about my urgency on such repair but went to deaf ear. Nothing heard after that call, neither email or call.........WTF..... I will not recommend ANYONE to buy this brand or even consider this brand......Beware. lastly, leather quality is really horrible....BAD EXPERIENCE...........
