Train Noise

We live in the Grey Oaks subdivision about 200 yards from the railroad tacks. We have around 40 homes in our subdivision. The trains go under a bridge at our main entrance, but down the track about 500 yards is Kendrick road. It has a stop sign on both sides. The road leads to nine homes, mostly lived in by retired folks. They go to bed early as I have observed by sitting in my car between 9 pm to 10:30 pm several times with no one going out or in to their home. Down about 1000 yards is Pine Lane which is an access for two (2) homes. If traffic was coming and going at all times of the early evening and night, I can understand why the train horn is blown, but since there isn't, it doesn't make sense to blow from 11 pm to 5 am. I too understand the law of horn blowing, but if a car was coming in or out after dark, they would certainly see the train light, before hearing a horn. I am asking that someone from CSX come out to our subdivision to survey our situation. I am also asking that train horns stop between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. I know that big corporations are not usually concerned about us little folks, but I think CSX is concerned about their place in the community, so I look to get a response and even better to see someone from CSX.
