Sending products and bills never ordered

I have been receiving complimentary issues of Readers Digest for several months (Clinic waiting room copy). Recently, two books and a free gift have also came through the mail. None of these items or subscription were ordered. Readers Digest has now sent a "past due bill". I WILL NOT PAY for MAIL DUMPING - evidently what Readers Digest has been doing for several years. A lot of people would automatically pay thinking that they forgot about ordering. Readers Digest probably makes $millions$ doing this yearly. I'm now throwing everything in the trash when it comes through the door. NO MORE FREE TABLE SPACE IN MY WAITING ROOM FOR READERS DIGEST. SDInc, jtq

Reader's Digest also sent me what appeared to be a promotional package containing a cheap toy and what appeared to be a book of excerpts of possible books to order from them. Even stated there was no charge all was free. I didn't care to read book excerpts of stories, so I trashed it. About a month later I also received a bill for said shipment. I have never even had any dealings of any kind with Reader's Digest. Haven't been able to find a phone # to contact these people either. so will enclose a note with their billing saying I don't intend to pay for merchandise not ordered. I probably will get a dun for the bill, but I don't know what else to do either. It seems these people know what they are doing and do not want to be contacted.

RD send my father, dead two years now, a book which my mother returned. She has been receiving past-due notices since then. There was a number on at least one of them. I called and eventually talked to a real person who kindly helped me straighten things out. That number is 1-888-483-0007. You may have to try several times to get through. Good luck!

Sending products and bills never ordered

I've been trying for hours to find an address to send a payment for a product. Tried signing into rd.com/ rdstores.com and readersdigest.com and readersdigeststores.com and can't access my account even when I put in my account number; then tried name address and no luck finding my account. Made a new account at rdstores.com can't find my account there either as they don't have billing information as I must have another account that can't be accessed in any way, shape or form online. Have tries all the search engines possible under various billing questions and no luck finding where to send a payment. Phone numbers hang up on my as my question isn't in their prompts.

What a way to run a business?

Sending products and bills never ordered

Received a book from Reader's Digest Select Editions in the mail that I never ordered. Received a bill three days later wanting
$30.35 for this non-order. I Googled Reader's Digest Payment Processing Center for a phone number (800 463-8820) to report and cancel this non-order as there was no phone number given. I directed them to never send me anything again that I don't order or I will sue them. After this, I would be afraid to order anything from them again. They used to be a reputable company to do business with.
I told the representative that I would send the book back but was told to keep it for my trouble and also to ignore any future billings for this book. I hope this is the end of it!

I have been a subscriber for over 10 years - with both the magazine and condensed fiction books. Canceled the latter recently, as too many of them I had read already. Now they send me non-fiction and say I ordered it. Lies. Thank goodness for internet as I was able to find a phone number there - certainly can't find it in their documentation. This is a fraudulent company now and I am thinking I will cease all dealings with them.

These folks are something else. Same thing happened to me in January and I used the 800 number that I found in the comments. Not only was the customer service rep rude, I don't believe she will do anything and I fully expect to receive another bill .
I, too have complained to all entities that I can find. I hope one of them chooses to investigate.
