This company is absolutely disgusting and i cant believe they are still trading
I have also had an issue with Qype they called me up at 9:30pm claiming to offer a service which they didnt! I was told they could directly contract work out to me, the next day I went to check on my Qype to find it to be nothing more than a internet directory and review site. I've called numerous times, I have even been told the issue was sorted to later get a letting claiming my account was in arrears. I have now requested 3 call backs which never came, posted on their forum which was later deleted and sent them numerous emails. So I'm trapped into a £300 contract sold on lies? Awful customer service, awful service i have not had 1 lead from Qype. Dont use.

Fake reviews and cr*p customer service
I am sorry to hear about your complaint.
Qype doesn't operate in the US yet so first of all this seems strange.
Listings are added by users and businesses. If your business doesn't exist then we just delete it, if a Qype user wants to add a review about your business then they can do so regardless of your desire or otherwise. So in effect the listing doesn't belong to you, but you do have the option to claim the listing as your own.
If any reviews are offensive (legally so) then we delete them, otherwise they stay. Qype sales staff are not allowed to post untruthful reviews, or reviews to make a sale. They are also never allowed to write a review about a business customer they have sold to. Any examples found of this are immediately investigated and checked by our Quality team, since we take it so seriously.
If you don't like your reviews, submit an offensive content report (the link is on every review you read) and our quality team will review it. If we find it's legally offensive, or written to procure a sale by a Qype team member, we will delete it.
If neither of the above cases are apparent, then just make efforts to balance any negativity with those detailing your great service. Our research shows that places on Qype with through the board 5 star reviews are much less believed that those with a balanced mix of opinion.
