poor service
Plumbing Rescue is company which provides plumbing and pipe cleaning services in the Tampa, FL area (235 W. Brandon Blvd) is a total scam! I hired them once for pipe cleaning and they never fulfilled their services but left a huge mess in my house. I contacted them many times about that problem and wanted a partial refund that case but each my claim was ignored. I can confirm after such experience that this company is dishonest and fraudulent and doesn't care of their customers!

Plumbing Rescue Under Investigation
I (as well as many other individuals) have been scammed by a company called “Plumbing Rescueâ€. I won a lawsuit against the company for $5,350 and have posted my review on different sites warning individuals of their illegal practices. One of the website that I wrote a review on suddenly replaced my headline on search engines with how the company is committed to good customer service and is working with individuals who made complaints. It is over 1 year and the company still has not paid on my attorney demand to pay on their lawsuit (Hillsborough county florida online public records instrument #2012259625, book #21263, Page # 443)
I wrote an email to www.ripoffreport.com and the company admitted that Plumbing Rescue is using them to push down negative comments on search engines with positive one under ripoffreport.com’s reputation management company. I believe that the 70+ positive comments are not from satisfied customers of Plumbing Rescue but from employees or outsourced individual of ripoffreport.com (all posted when Plumbing Rescue began paying ripoffreport.com for their reputation management service). In addition, since I posted my original negative complaint, plumbing rescue created a duplicate company profiles on different sites to post all of the positive comments which pushed down the original company profile complaint.
Here are some links that indicates Plumbing Rescue is under investigation (State of Florida CFO Jeff Atwater arrests one of Plumbing Rescue employees for scamming customers) March 14, 2013: http://www.myfloridacfo.com/sitePages/newsroom/pressRelease.aspx?id=4147
Channel 10 News in Tampa goes undercover and catches Plumbing Rescue trying to scam them on hidden camera (May 21, 2013): http://www.wtsp.com/news/article/317588/34/Undercover-sting-finds-problems-with-plumbing-company
A portion of the email from www.ripoffreport.com indicating that Plumbing Rescue is using their Reputation Management services to push down the original complaints against them on their OWN website as well as on search engines:
“Like we said below – now that Plumbing Rescue are on this program where we think (that’s think) they changed their ways – and, because they are listed at the top of the search engines on Ripoff Report, .. any consumer who gets ripped off in the future and they come to us, they WILL BE taken care of - - please know, if a member of our program does not make things right with their customer, … they will be off the program after 3 bad strikes or less. Depends on the circumstances.†If you request, I can send you long email string where ripoffreport.com
Here is some more evidence about the owner of www.ripoffreport.com being arrested and investigated for “extorting†businesses: http://behindtheripoffreport.com/
One last recent article from Forbes.com about the company using their website to generate consumer complaints, and then contacting the businesses to pay them to help “get rid†of the complaints by pushing the negative comments (it claims the owner is in hiding because he is in fear for his life…paranoia): http://www.forbes.com/sites/adamtanner/2013/05/09/love-it-or-hate-it-ripoffreport-is-in-expansion-mode/
If anyone has been scammed by Plumbing Rescue, please contact Florida's office of CFO, Jeff Atwater. If your scam involved a large job that was submitted to your homeowners insurance company, please contact Attorney General, Pam Bondi who is also investigating them. Also, please submit your complaint to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation against their license. We need as many individuals that were scammed by this company to bond together and stop this company from doing business AND get restitution for the money that they overcharged us.
