Rock and Roll hold music
Loud hold music is offensive to those who do not want to hear such music. I for one would like to see hold music removed from calls completely.

Timeshare re-sale SCAM
Platinum Realty Exchange and American Title Escrow Services are two companies that are working together to SCAM timeshare owners. They approach you offering to sell your timeshare. They say they have a corporate buyer who has already put money in Escrow for you. Their documents and contracts look legitimate, but they are completely fake and mean nothing!
They tell you that you just have to pay the "transfer fee" which will then be reimbursed to you by the buyer. They say they will wire the money directly to your account Once you pay the "transfer fee", you never hear from them again and cannot reach them by phone or e-mail. They should be arrested.

Rock and Roll hold music
This is the best way to do business with Platinum Realty Exchange Run very fast, they got me for 19, 923.34 plus 70.00 dollars. The other part of the scam is American Title Escrow Service. The Agent at Platinum is Andrew AKA Michael Jones and at American Title it is Alex Garcia. Jones and him are good at what they do Play on the Greed we all have and then put our stupidity with that and you get taken. I am sure My money got them up and continue to take us. It is my fault my loss. But I learned one thing the people who call your home or email you the deal you want they have it ready for you. I do not like to lose and they (Platinum and American) will take you down if you let them. Hang up the phone today I had a call from Resorts with the same deal. I did not hang up right away because I wanted to get there story. Same play book Jones or Garcia sold my info to them, and said I was a dumb American. Remember you are dealing with Mexico not USA they send the money to Puerto Vallarta Use your own mind to think what the money does. It is not coming back to us. So RUN. Your time share is of no Value. So pay the fee use it or let it laps. do not try to sell it.

scam
I was solicited by Platinum Reality Exchange to resell my one bedroom at Mayan Palace. Received a very good and professional offer and all seemed well until the resale was sent to American Escrow Title Services in Chicago Illinois. My lawyer reviewed the forms and felt the escrow fees were legitiminte. THIS IS A SCAM AND I AM OUT A CONSIDERABLE amount of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN NY, ILLINOIS AND TEXAS.. I have read very similar (people have named the same names) ripp-offs, and am about to file a law suit in Federal court..because of all of the jurisdictions. If you have had similar experiences with these shady companies, and have evidence, a class action lawsuit would make the case stronger. These individuals need to be shut down and locked up. Kindly contact my with your real experiences, let me know if there has been any sucess at restitution, and if any legal actions have been taken, and if they were successful. [email protected]

Mayan Palace Timeshare Scam
We were also scammed with a Mayan Palace Timeshare. They claim they don't misrepresent themselves. Yet the promises and the drinks ease you into signing. Once you've done that, you are screwed. Through all the other initials on your contract, you realize you initialled, that they don't misrepresent themselves. Now you are up the creek. We had 2 timeshares they claimed that Alliance marketing would sell for us in 3 months max. We would recoup the money we paid at the Grand Luxxe and would net out ahead of the game. Well 15 months later, I am out $30k and I still have the original timeshares. I have also not heard a word from Alliance marketing in several months. Plus I found out they are a marketing group, thus not legally allowed to sell. I have had to take a 2nd mortgage out on my house. All the answers I have seen from the Mayan on various websites show they are not at all interested in helping out. Do they not have a concious?
