I have used them for a view years and didn't have a problem - until I had a problem two weeks ago. Someone charged something on my account that I did not know - a bogus charge. Apparently they are using a call center for their customer service. The kids were nice - but it took two hours to get them to not only do something but explain it to me. To make matters worse - they would cut me off (four times) and I was automatically charged two dollars everytime I called back!
To be fair - they were able to get all the call back charges but one - but you cannot expect a call center to be a bank. They closed my card (and did not tell me over the phone until the fourth call back and then said on my new card I would have all my money, including the $185.00 bogus charge.
Wrong - they gave me wrong information 3 times, over charged - cut me off - yet they were all very nice - just inept. New - not trained - whatever. Horrrible horrible horrible - as it came close to two hours I was practically screaming into the phone. I still don't have my money back - I DO NOT RECOMMEND META BANK TO ANYONE - A CALL CENTER IS NOT A BANK - AND I DON'T THINK THEY ARE ONE EITHER. THEY ARE OKAY BUT CANNOT SOLVE PROBLEMS IF THERE IS ONE.
As soon as I get my money back I am cancelling my card - horrible horrible horrible!!!

Activation problem
I purchased the card and when I went to "register" it I couldn't. The validation date on the card was 7/17. The date available to activate...starts at .2018! Do you see the problem... I Can't register it. According to the website to activate it says it's out dated. Nice! Not impressed.

my pay power card was locked and I have not been able to reach customer service and my card has an substantial amount of money on it. customer service wont even answer to help me fix my problem. thinking of changing to someone else.

I used my card on 2/10/2014 for purchase of approximately $23.00. 45 minutes later when I tried to use my card to purchase gas at a gas station, the card was denied. No one answers the customer service telephone line, and my card is still being denied, with more than $300 on it. What kind of deal is this?
